Get Cinched!
Apr 29, 2008 | 8:03AM
How's everyone doing with losing weight for the summer? Not easy is it....with all those fad diets, diet drugs, weight loss programs....it's hard finding one that's safe AND effective.
I actually gave up trying to lose weight till I found the Cinch inch loss program and now both my husband and I are actually really losing weight!
If you're like me and tired of being larger that you really are and you really want to make a change that isn't going to torture you to death, you might want to look at this as an option. There's no artificial ingredients, sweetners or drugs of any sort, it's all extremely healthy and actually tasty....no chalky bland cardboard tasting junk.
Why not check it out today? It could be the beginning of a brand new you!

New categories for boards?
Apr 19, 2008 | 8:16AM
You know what would be really kewl is if we could have more catagories that we do in our message boards.
I'd like to see:
-Help wanted
-Jobs wanted
-Business owners (as many of us own small businesses that we could chat and share ideas about)
-Product discussion (where we could compare brands and values)
Things that are a bit more relevant for those of us who want to discuss more than frivial yet fun things.
Wonder if any of this could happen? I'm thinking those subjects could be quite helpful to someone looking for a new chapter in their life.

Want to work at home?
Apr 05, 2008 | 3:47PM
Yes, I'm asking if you want to work at home because I'm currently training others how to do just that and if you have 5 - 10 hours a week that you'd like to turn into $3,255 a month within a year, I'd love to show you how.
Do I make money at this? Well, let me ask you...do you think I'd be doing this if I didn't?
I know, there are a lot of scams out there and no, this is not a "Get rich quick" scheme and if I was telling you that this was then you'd know I was lying. Some people make roughly $900 a month extra doing what I teach them, some make a lot more. It all depends on how much you want to work and for how long....your choice.
Feel free to watch the short movie at: htpp://bossfree123.com for more info and if you'd like to know more then just fill out the form at the end so that I can call you myself and walk you through what we do at no cost to you.
I'd love you help you find extra money at the end of the month instead of extra month at the end of the money....lol!

Global Home Business Trainer
Mar 26, 2008 | 10:00AM
Yes, that's what I am now, an international home business trainer and I'm loving it! Sure, I still work for my husband but in my spare time I'm making a residual income every month by teaching people how to start up and operate their own home based businesses.
No, I don't go to their homes and they don't come to mine, I do it all over the internet with my phone so that means I can stay at home.
I don't do "product demos or parties", I don't do direct sales nor do I have to make any cold calls that annoy people (I hate telephone solicitors). I really do everything right from home in the hours that I want to. For example, I scheduled myself a 3 day weekend last weekend and this weekend I'm taking another three days off. Why? Because I can. I don't have a boss breathing down my neck, telling me what I have to do.
I am my own boss, I work the hours I want to work, I choose who I want to train or add to my team and the most beautiful part of my selfishness is that I'm helping other people to find financial and lifestyle freedom. How sweet is that?
I still spend timing playing online games and meeting great people like you, but I have turned just some of that time into a great future.
If you want what I've got and you have 5 - 10 hours a week to put towards your future, then check it out at http://www.bossfree123.com

Man it's nice to give back
May 27, 2007 | 3:18PM
As you know, I have Lyme disease but I'm one of the lucky one's who with a lot of help now has it under remission. I also have my life back and a while back our band had a fund raiser so I thought I'd share this with you!:
Strange Brew holds concert for Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation Strange Brew, a Kamloops BC band is the very first music band in Canada to do a fundraiser for the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation and it was truly an honour for us to share that history making event on March 31, 2007 with some of the finest people we have right here in Kamloops, BC.
Several businesses, too many to mention, donated some incredible door prizes that were muchly appreciated by all who won. There were other businesses that wrote cheques, a tax deductlible donation, to the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation and special mention goes to Alterstart Air, Central Interior Rebuilders, and Brent Carson (chiropractor).
The winner of our 50/50 draw was Lori Goss who demonstrated incredible generosity by donating all of her winnings ($101.50) to the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation.
Another honourable mention needs to go out to Niki and John Bone, owners of Dragon Press who printed out and donated 10,000 brochures with up-to-date and valuable information on Lyme disease. Their daughter Joann, a victim of Lyme disease herself for the last year, made in conjunction with her Mom a beautiful donation jar which bumped up the total donations to $479.00...something we were all very proud of. While in the process of making these valuable contributions for this fundraiser the Bone parents found themselves dealing with the fact that their other daughter had been diagnosed with Lyme disease.
Strange Brew thanks everyone for their support.
Strange Brew is looking to make this an annual event with the idea of bringing the awareness of this devastating disease to others in hopes of saving them years of suffering. Dannie Cade the lead singer/trumpet player of Strange Brew learned the hard way in her struggle with Lyme disease. The purpose is to raise funds for the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation to get better diagnostics, lab tests, treatment, and, education to everyone in the medical profession and the general public.

Some people's children....pfffff!
Mar 07, 2007 | 9:25AM
I'm wondering how many other people are fed up with trying to play a nice game while chatting with old friends and making new ones only to have a gang of snot nosed 13+ year old kids who think they are sex gods with a license to lip off anyone and everyone in the room that they choose to, foul language and all? Like really, am I the only one or do any of you get frustrated with this?
I'm referring to the game Gold Miner Vegas here....and I know for fact that many of us continually file complaints against these unruly children but they keep coming back, which tells me that Grab is doing nothing about this unacceptable behavior.
Recently I wrote to them about this (again) suggesting that either they set up a room just for these kids so they leave the rest of us alone OR get a monitor to come to these rooms and immediately boot the kids that wanna act like juvenile deliquents from the site for a minimum of 1 month for the first serious offense such as "f" words, which is quite common now. Maybe 3 months for the second offense and permanently for the third time.
I don't find this problem in any other game room to this kind of severity. Yes, you will get the occassion snot nosed brat who will pop in and try to aggravate everyone else from time to time in other game rooms, I expect it actually, but in Gold Miner Vegas they literally team up together and it almost becomes gorilla warfare between the adults and the wanna-be loser-gangs!
It's important for me to make sure that something is clear here. I'm not talking about all the kids. I've met some very nice kids that do their parents proud by how well they conduct themselves. I'm referring to those that that deliberately do exactly the opposite with as much malicious intent as possible...you know what I'm talking about.
What I'm suggesting here is that if you feel the same as me about this, please write to Grab and let them know. Tell them how you really feel (nicely) and let them know you've had enough. Either the game rooms belong to Grab or it belongs to those kids....Grab needs to decide NOW!
Thanks gang,
Dannie

sucess
Oct 26, 2006 | 9:23PM
My eye corrective surgery has so far been a sucess and thanks so much for the support of my friends here, it has been greatly appreciated. I can perform now without glasses on stage and it just keeps getting better. For those of you who wondered, I had to have PRK and it was well worth it. Feel free to write to me about it!
God bless you all.

Corrective eye surgery
Sep 21, 2006 | 9:13PM
For my friends who may have thought I've been ignoring them, I had corrective eye surgery....PRK to be precise, done at the end of last month. I've had a slowed down recovery but could play some games yet not beable to read the chat. So to those I could not see saying "hi" and talking to me, I apologize. Please understand.
Otherwise, life is good. Our band hasn't had a whole lot happening in the last while and that's been okay with me, but we're all itching to get back in the saddle now and that will soon be accomplished as the gigs are piling up again.
Of course, that won't stop me from being here but it may slow me down some at time....surprise surprise.
I hope everyone is doing well. Speaking of doing well, I've been politically active in my fight for Lyme disease victums and have made some political enemies but that's ok.....I expect that.
Take care, stand up for what you believe and live with inner peace.....

Life has been good!
Jun 10, 2006 | 7:15AM
Well, we finished the filming and I think it went well. The producer is sending me some flowers so she must be happy.
I also did a talk about Lyme Diseaes last week at a Chronic pain management meeting in which a reporter was there and she wrote up a fantastic article! Great to see more information getting out there.
Then last Sunday our band played in our city park for the Juvenile Diabetes fund raiser and although we've done better, it was okay and everyone seemed to enjoy it. We were hired for another gig out of that.
Just last Thursday I got to watch my oldest daughter graduate at our University.....Mamma was so proud of her! She looked beautiful!
Today, our band is going to be one of many bands playing at the park again but this time for cancer. There will be a band an hour, each playing a set so this should be a lot of fun!
Ok, I gotta get ready......have a great weeka all!

Being filmed is scary!
May 31, 2006 | 8:45AM
I did one of the hardest things in my life the night before. I'm being filmed for a documentary on Lyme Disease and they wanted to film me practicing with our band Strange Brew which I agreed to. So there I am singing and playing my trumpet and the camera was RIGHT IN MY FACE! It's hard to act like you don't notice this....acting like you're not acting....try it sometime....sheesh! If I had breathed any harder I would've fogged up the lens!
Then.....the cameraman is right in front of me filming my toes and feet tapping...ok, that's fine....I was glad my toenails were polished but wait! He starts panning up my body very slowly! I mayas well have been standing there stark naked and of course, I started thinking about all of the exercise classes I "should've" gone to......while acting like I'm not acting of course cause you know, I do this sort of thing all the time.....NOT!
Anyway, talk about intimidating! Tomorrow we will be filming in my back yard and that should be easier as he will follow me around the yard as I putz at different things while talking about everything I had been through while I was sick with Lyme Disease and how difficult it was to get help and what it was like during the recovery phase. I hope it helps a lot of people.
If any of you are interested in my personal story, just google the name "Danette MacDonald" and you'll find it. For more information on Lyme Disease go to www.canlyme.com for Canadian information.
Till later, have a great day all!
