How to Apply and Remove Makeup
May 02, 2009 | 4:46AM
Beautiful makeup tips are useful to know what you should do to make the makeup work to its fullest capacity, for, makeup done unprofessionally and without any thought would not be able to give you the desired results. Before applying the makeup that you hope would create a magical aura around you, consider these following tips for beautiful makeup

Start by taking care of your skin now. Your body is made up of what you eat and drink. Eat junk food and drink lots of sweet carbonated water and caffeine, and that's what your body has to work with. Your skin reflects the state of your health. If your body is full of junk, your skin is likely to be spotty, congested or at least, far from its best. You might get away with it while you are young, but sooner or later, your excesses would catch up with you.

Eye Makeup: Starting at your lash line, apply your Base Color first, then apply your crease color in the crease area. Apply your Highlight Color in the highlight color area, below the brow bone. Finally, blend the colors with a cotton ball or your fingertip to remove any obvious line. If the colors are too bright tone them down with a little Translucent Powder then apply your Mascara, and dust your entire face downward with Translucent Powder.

Blusher

To avoid staining, clean off any additional blusher from the stick prior to applying. Don't counterpart your mascara shade with your eye shade. For lashes which don't glue mutually, apply an eyelash comb, or a clammy toothbrush to rake through your eyelashes.

Perfect beauty is an elusive concept, but if you can feel good about yourself by enhancing your looks, you may find more joy in your life. Makeup and clothing is an issue for many teenage girls. Mineral makeup is the latest breakthrough in women's cosmetics. Most mineral makeup is safe for sensitive skin. It gives a natural "bare skin" appearance while evening out skin tone and covering up acne and blemishes.

How to Remove Makeup

There are two types of makeup - oily and non-oily. Non-oily makeup stains come from eye shadows, blush and powdered makeup. For oily makeup stains (like cover up), usually liquid dish soap or shampoo will remove these makeup stains, but when it won't, sprinkle baking soda directly on the makeup smudge, then brush the area with an old wet toothbrush until the makeup is gone. Oily makeup products include mascara, liquid makeup, rouge and lipstick. Most makeup can be removed from clothing if treated properly.

Removing eye makeup can be one of the more tricky areas of the face, as the skin around your eyes is the most sensitive. The most basic cleanser is soap, and this is an option, but it can be drying to the skin and harsh on the eyes. The best method to remove makeup is that takes a few drops of cosmetic makeup removers on a cotton ball and gently use for removing makeup from the face. Household ammonia is another good resource for removing lipstick. First blot the stain with a bit of water to remove as much of the lipstick as possible, then treat with a little ammonia, and rinse and wash per care label instructions. Removing finger nail polish is also fairly easy. Simply use an acetone based fingernail polish remover to remove the stain.
