I find this whole Kate Moss thing really annoying.  I'm not what you would call a Kate Moss fan - in fact, I've never really seen the appeal.  Her eyes are cold, and she has a sort of edgy/mean look to her face - in my opinion.

That having been said, what a bunch of hypocrits all of those companies that have been dumping her are.  How did they think she was maintaining that look, anyway?  I mean, clearly she's not a healthy person.  The common sense voice in my head says she's either living on diet coke and cigarettes, or she's on drugs - maybe both - what do I know, right?

So from my perspective, first the fashion and beauty industry pays her a guzillion dollars for "that look".  They spend much time and effort shoving it under our noses, trying to convince us, our mother's and our daughter's that THIS is beauty.  On the front cover of the magazine you have Kate Moss or some other waifish model, on the inside you have an article on the disturbing rise of anorexia in pre-teen girls.  Hmm...do we really need pencil and paper here to do the math?

What really annoys me though, is the way they're all so quick to throw her to the curb when she gets outted for what they had to have suspected she was doing to maintain those toothpicks she calls legs.  And is there any doubt that she'll be quickly replaced with one of her skeletal friends - one with secrets still safely locked in closets though, no doubt.
