Renaissance literally means rebirth...and that's what I feel like has happened to me. I have been reborn. A month ago...I was stuck in this major hole...I couldn't hold my family life together, let alone my school or social lives. I hadn't seen any of my real friends for ages, and Tasha was putting all this extra weight on my shoulders. I really feel like I have a new outlook on life. You know when you're really depressed about something, you just don't see the point to anything? It feels as though you're just going to be back in the same place you started. Now, I feel as though I have a purpose...even if it is just to have fun. Seeing as I haven't written a blog in ages, this one should be pretty long.

My friends...are awesome. My friends from primary school; I see them all about once a week. I love just being with them...not having to worry about what they think of me. My school friends; well, that's a bit of a different story. I feel like Tasha was holding me back. There's this girl in my class who I used to be kind of friends with, but now we're really close. She's really genuine, and it takes a while for her to open up which is the exact opposite for me...so we kind of suit each other in a weird way. My other friend (Vanessa...she's my number 6 on MySpace...and she's not quite as evil as she looks) is a huge bowl of crazy, just like me. We yell, we scream, we swear...exactly what I couldn't do with Tasha. They are both awesome...

My family? They're getting easier to deal with...my dad really infuriates me sometimes, but usually we end up play-cat-fighting and burst into laughter.

School...is almost over. I'm so proud of myself this term. I got 100% on both a History Essay and a Maths test, I got best speaker on my Debating team and best speaker in the class (of about 25 people)(I live for debating) and my PE soccer team won.

Flute...I got into the band that I wanted to be in :DDDDD

What else have I been up to? Nothing, really. Anyway...I have another debate to write so if anyone has any reasons why fur should be banned, I'd be happy to hear them.

I figure that Lex isn't going to stop bugging me any time soon, so I may as well blog.

Uh...not much going on in my life. Actually, I tell a lie. On Wednesday nights I do dancing classes (with actual boys!) and this week we had a dress up night. I went as a pirate (sexy, I know XDD) and everyone looked so funny!

Oh and by the way, I talked to Tasha. I was just like, "listen, I think we just need a break from being with each other, and I don't think that we should be friends for a while". Now...I dunno. She's really angry (which I understand), but now everyone is trying to get us to be friends again.

I went home sick on Thursday (awww...poor Ally) with a terrible headache and went to sleep at 3pm. I didn't wake up 'till 6pm, and when I managed to wander downstairs, I found random people in my loungeroom. It turns out that my sister's boyfriend (yes, my 11 year old sister has a boyfriend. Stupid little...) had come over and his dad was picking him up. Oh joy, I get to look drunk in front of strangers! Haha...

Uh...what else have I done...I made a soufle (sp?). Anyway...have a good weekend all!

So, I know this girl, right? She the best girlie in the entire world, I love her to absolute death. I always have the best time ever with her and she is always there when I just need to talk. BEST BREAD FO' LIFE, BRA!

Yeha...I went to Band Camp on the weekend. Good times, man! We got there on Friday...into cabins, get timetable. One look: JESUS CHRIST! A couple of the girls didn't get a break for hours on end because of everything that they were in. I had a Concert Band rehearsal...and we got our new music. Yes...Highlights from Grease, and Highlights from High School Musical (groan). I'm finding band really easy right now. We have some (excuse my french) [censored] house flautists in Concert band. When we went to sectionals, Claire and I had to take them. They just...sucked. We practiced for about 15 hours in total over the weekend, and they still managed to play an A instead of an A flat...and screwed everyone else up. Even though we went through and highlighted every A flat in the bar. We did a trivia quiz on Saturday...my team came second (w00t). Other than that, there's not much to write about band camp. Buuuuutttt...I have a plan. Every 3 years or so we have a music tour. Next year we might be going to New Zealand...AND I WANT TO GOOOOOOOO. But Concert band doesn't go, only Symphonic and Orchestra. I really want to get into Symphonic, but I'm only third grade (Australian Music Examination Board) and there are so many DAMN flutes at my school (about 40 or 50) and about 15 better than me. A lot are in bands already, so if I do my grade four exam this year, I might get into Symphonic. I just really, really, really, really, really want to go. SO now I am going to practice my scales (groan). I shall leave you with a video...

Next weekend. Yayers! Everyone loves band camp, 'cause we don't do anything.

Last year...I was in a cabin with seven other girls. And we only had six beds. I remember one day we were bored and started to prank call people we knew (eg, cousins, friends, people who could take a joke) and said some really crazy stuff. Like:
"(Indian accent) Sanjib! I need to talk to Sanjib! This is Sanahaa! NOW!"
"Mummy, daddy's crying in the corner!"

Then one night I got bored 'cause everyone in my cabin was asleep, btu the cabin next door was still up. I snuck in, and while I was sitting in there a teacher came in. She got crapped off at them 'cause they were still up, and I was hiding in the corner hoping not to get caught. Luckily they didn't see me.

This year should be even better...hopefully the year nines will get one of the decent cabins. Soooo...I will not be on next weekend. I know this is a bit early...but hey. Whatever.

It's the 1st of April here...Easter is coming up in a week. Which basically means...
HOLIDAYS!!!

It also means that my last week of school was majorly hectic. Monday I got my Pythagoras test back...93%!!! I was so pleased. I had two French assessments which I think I did okay on...I think I'm starting to improve. I had yet another maths test which I think (and hope) I did okay on...and a load of other crap.

People...[censored] me off. Tasha is just killing me. The other day...wait, let me just tell you the convo.
"I have to stay after school today to finish my English project"
"Tasha, it's Friday. Mr _______ (English teacher) will probably leave straight after school"
"I hope he does...I really need to get this in before the holidays. He said that he will take 5% off per day, times that by two weeks..."
"We got this a month ago! Why haven't you done it???"
"I've been busy this week"
"Tasha...a MONTH ago"
Yeah...that's pretty much it. I was angry.

So by Friday, I totally needed a break. I met Georgia and Jess and we hung out for a while. They get me...I dunno why. We just know how each one of us feels. I went over to Jess's house...and watched Dark Angel. It's a crappy show...but we keep watching repeats anyway.

So I don't know if I told y'all, but my friend Mel got back from a holiday (two frikken' months) last week. I saw her, but Jess and Georgia hadn't so we all got together again. We ended up sleeping over at Mel's house...we had so much fun. At about 7pm, we decided that we wanted to dress up. Jess had this wicked short blond wig that looked so great. Georgia was an emo, Jess was a punk and Mel was a girly girl. Once I get the videos I'll show ya. We had tons of fun...it's great to be back together, all four of us.

So...I have two weeks to hang out and do nothing...yay! =]

Waaaaaa....I'mma sick =[

On Wednesday, I started getting a cough. I figured "hey, I'm sick...play it up and get the day off". So I got Thursday off...and then I started getting really sick. My Softball team got into the semi-finals (yay us!) and so I had to play of Saturday. I didn't sleep the entire night, I had a temp of 38.1 (which means I was sick) and I still had to play. Fortunately we won Softball and had to play on Sunday. GUH!

Sooooo...today I played SB. I was in right outfield...and I made the most amazing catch. I don't mean to brag...but it would have gone right over my head...so I jumped up and caught it. Sooooo many people (even random spectators) were like "nice catch!". I like SB :D even though we lost. But that means that we came 3rd on the ladder, which is pretty darn good!

Right now...I'm still sick. I'm having trouble breathing...I need DRUGS...XD

I have a Pythag test on Tues...plus a German test. Plus a Science project due (and I left the work at school). I had better get back to the wonders of the tryangle.
