Worship (for real)
Sep 08, 2009 | 6:51PM
Hi all!! This post will be about worship... real worship. Real worship is not just singing a song or playing an instrument, it is a all consuming passion for Christ, thanking him for giving you life and being... well quite frankly just awesome!! Christ is a God who wants your praise and more than just a song, he wants your heart. Give him that and not just in Church, wherever you are and you don't have to just burst out in song in the store, or at school, worship God inward as well as through song. Be in constant worship and thankfulness to Christ, because of and only him we have life.
Clear the stage and set the sound and lights ablaze If that's the measure that it takes to crush the idols. Chuck the pews and all the decorations too Until the congregations few then have revival. Tell your friends that this is where the party ends until you're broken for your sins you can't be social. Then seek the Lord and wait for what he has in store and know that great is your reward and just be hopeful
Cause you can sing all you want to. Yes you can sing all you want to you can sing all you want to And don't get me wrong, worship is more than a song.
Take a break from all the plans that you made And sit at home alone and wait for God to whisper. Beg Him please to open up his mouth and speak And pray for real upon your knees until they blister. Shine the light on every corner of your life Until the pride and lust and lies are in the open. Then read the word and put to test the things you've heard Until your heart and soul are stirred and rocked and broken.
Cause you can sing all you want to. Yes you can sing all you want to you can sing all you want to And don't get me wrong, worship is more than a song.
Anything I put before my God is an idol. Anything I want with all my heart is an idol. Anything I can't stop thinking of is an idol. Anything that I give all my love is an idol. We must not worship something that's not even worth it. Clear the stage and make some space for the one who deserves it.
Cause I can sing all I want to. Yes I can sing all I want to I can sing all I want to And still get it wrong, worship is more than a song.
And you can sing all you want to. Yes you can sing all you want to You can sing all you want to But don't get me wrong, worship is more than a song.
God is awesome yal and deserves your praise give it to him daily because he is an all consuming fire burning within you and wants your praise. Be in constant worship of him this week and let him know how much he means to you. Let him know who you believe he is. He is the Son of God, King of Kings, Prince of Peace, the giver of love, grace and mercy.... he is God.
Grace and Peace be Yours in Abundance!!!

Are we taking the Gifts of God the wrong way...
Aug 25, 2009 | 5:13PM
Hey all!! The post today is about a hunger for God. We (humans) too many times fill ourselves with other things besides God. We look forward to things that are not God and rely on those things to keep us going instead of stuffing ourselves with God and his word. Fasting is a representation of not stuffing ourselves with things (in this case of fasting food) and instead filling our spirits with the Lord. Fasting though does not have to be from food in can be whatever you seem to stuff yourself with instead of God whether that be food, money, sex, or anything else that you fill yourself with instead of God. God desires that we fill ourselves with him and not his gifts or things of this life. We must make sure that we do not take the blessings of God (his gifts to us) and put them in the place of God. We must fill ourselves with him and to allow him to live through us!!
Grace and Peace be yours in abundance!!

Religion or Relationship
Aug 15, 2009 | 10:47AM
This question asks what is religion and what is relationship and which one is better... Well first off God desires to have a relationship with him. God wants us to have a deep intimate relationship with him. Too many Christians get all wrapped up in religion and miss the whole point of Christianity. All they see is self-righteous people who try to be perfect. When we boil down Christianity to a checklist of things not to do and to do we destroy what God designed for love and relationship... not religion! When we make Christianity a checklist of things not to do and to do we posses nothing more than any other religion! We must focus the relationship with Christ which in time will sanctify us and make us like him (holy)!!! Now don't get me wrong, this does not mean that we don't follow Christ and strive to be more like him, it's just we don't say try harder try harder do be perfect, because it is a waste of time... frankly it is impossible to be perfect! We must focus on the relationship with Christ who will sanctify us and make us holy. We can't be perfect, but Christ already is... rely on him stop beating yourself up when you mess up, confess and repent and put it behind you. Christ is faithful and just to forgive you, forget about religion Christ came to abolish that. He wants a relationship!!
Grace and Peace be Yours in Abundance!!

God's Wrath Against Sin
Jul 28, 2009 | 11:40AM
Hi all... hope yal are having a good week! This post will be about something that is not talked about much but needs to be. I know that I have written about or at least mentioned the love of God, and yes his love is never ending and he does love you very much. But to fully understand the love of God we must first understand the wrath and anger of God. God is a holy, sovereign God who loves his people, and being that holy sovereign God that he is he cannot be around sin. So when we become Christians he washes us clean and we are blameless in his sight. But before we are washed clean and before we choose him we are lost, alone and full of sin. He still loves us, but he loves us enough to be angry with us and at the sin we are committing. God's wrath burns against those who are sinful and reject him. His wrath turns toward that sin. God is love and is merciful.... but he is still God and says don't jerk with me. I am all powerful and my anger and wrath burns against all who have turned away from him. But when we find him in our spiritual walk and make him Lord of our life he forgives us and we are clean. God's love becomes more real and appreciable to us when we understand God's wrath against sin and how he washes us clean and forgives even though we should be burning in hell... but instead we have life here on earth and we can choose to live for ourselves of Christ Jesus.....
Blessing and Grace!!

We need to Die Daily to ourselves....
Jul 18, 2009 | 10:58AM
The title for this post may sound a bit strange or unusual, but it is very true. Our sinful nature as human beings does not desire the perfect things of God. As normal human beings we focus on ourselves and not what God has in store for us. As Christians we have to die to those sinful desires. We must Die daily and live a full life for Christ. The things of this world offer us temporrary happiness. But the things of Christ give us joy.... everlasting joy. We as humans need to die to our desires and to the things of this world and live a full and joyful life in the mercy, grace, and love of our Lord Christ Jesus. We need to die daily....
Blessings and Grace!

The Lord has a Plan
Jul 14, 2009 | 6:19PM
Blessings hope all who read this small blog are having a God blessed week. I felt that I needed to blog about God's plan for his followers lives. God has a plan for all of his followers. God has a purpose for you when you become a follower of Christ. Christ knew if you would accept him or not before the begining of time. So he carries out that plan as soon as your life begins. His plan is a plan to prospure you and to give you a hope and a future. This plan will not harm you but protect you. Trust in this plan, believe in it. God wont steer you wrong. This plan will never fail. God is all powerful and is an awsome God.
Blessings and Grace!

The Grace of God
Jul 13, 2009 | 8:49AM
God's grace...... hum.... well the first thing that pops into my mind is never ending. When you become a Christian God's grace abounds in your life. Know that this does not mean (when you become a Christian) that your life and you will be perfect. But it does mean that you rely on the power of God to help you become stronger in your faith and more holy and like Christ Jesus. God's grace is an amazing thing but it is not to be used like a toy. As it tells us in Romans 6, we are not to keep on sinning so that Gods grace may abound more and more. (because where sin is God's grace abounds more and more, but that should not lead us to keep on sinning. Becoming like Christ and being Holy is a long process. We do not change over night. We Must rely on the love, grace, and mercy of God to help us in our walk with Christ.
Blessings and Grace!!
