I'm the luckiest girl in the world, I had a cerebral anuersym in back in October 19, 2004. My youngest son found me on the floor passed out and not breathing. He immediately call 911. Ambulance had to intubate me and in the meantime, my lungs collapsed. Everything wasn't in my favor at that time. The doctors didn't think that I was going to make it. I had three surgeries while I was in the hospital. Believe or not I was there for 2 months in ICU. I was very lucky to have such great care, from my doctor to my nurse and the rest of the hospital staff who took care of me. Ironically I work at a hospital and found great respect and admiration on what they do.
I have a different outlook about life now. It's not often you get a second chance and you betcha I'm going to have fun and not stress out about little stuff. For all those people who are always stress and busy and never take the time to slowdown. Please, take it from me it not worth it. Just take your time and enjoy what's around you.
This October will be my one year anniversary and I'm happy to say I'm still here!
