GRAMMIE SENT ME THIS ONE...LOL!
Jun 07, 2009 | 7:35PM

SHE WAS SO BLOND THAT...

She tripped over a cordless phone.
She thought she needed a token to get on "Soul Train."
She spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice can
because it said "concentrate."
She told me to meet her at the corner of "WALK"
and "DON'T WALK."
She asked for a price check at the Dollar Store.
She studied for a blood test.
When she missed the 44 bus, she took the 22 bus twice
instead.
When she went to the airport and saw a sign that said
"Airport Left," she turned around and went home.
She sold the car for gas money!

MOTHERS...
Jun 07, 2009 | 7:14PM

MOTHERS

Real Mothers don't eat quiche;
They don't have time to make it.

Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils are probably in the sandbox.

Real Mothers often have sticky floors,
filthy ovens and happy kids.

Real Mothers know that dried play dough
doesn't come out of carpets.

Real Mothers don't want to know what
the vacuum just sucked up.

Real Mothers sometimes ask 'Why me?'
and get their answer when a little
voice says, 'Because I love you best.'

Real Mothers know that a child's growth
is not measured by height or years or grade...
It is marked by the progression of M
ummy to Mum to Mother...

The Images of Mother

4 YEARS OF AGE - My M
ummy can do anything!

8 YEARS OF AGE - My M
um knows a lot! A whole lot!

12 YEARS OF AGE - My Mother doesn't really know quite everything.

14 YEARS OF AGE - Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either.

16 YEARS OF AGE - Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned.

18 YEARS OF AGE - That old woman? She's way out of date!

25 YEARS OF AGE - Well, she might know a little bit about it!

35 YEARS OF AGE - Before we decide, let's get M
um's opinion.

45 YEARS OF AGE - Wonder what M
um would have thought about it?

65 YEARS OF AGE - Wish I could talk it over with M
um.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes,
because that is the doorway to her heart,
the place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole,
but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.
It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she
shows, and the beauty of a woman with passing years only grows!

Please send this to 5 M
um's today.

If you don't, nothing bad will happen,
but if you do, something good
will:
You will boost a Mother spirits.

EACH LIFE...AFFECTS ANOTHER

EACH LIFE ...

AFFECTS ANOTHER

We may not always realize

That every thing we do,

Affects not only our lives

But touches others, too!

For a little bit of thoughtfulness

That shows someone you care,

Creates a ray of sunshine

For both of you to share.

Yes, every time you offer

Someone a helping hand ...

Every time you show a friend

You care and understand ...

Every time you have

A kind and gentle word to give,

You help someone find beauty

In this precious life we live.

For happiness brings happiness

And loving ways bring love;

And Giving is the treasure

That contentment is made of.

Let's take a walk along a path

that starts in the woods

and ends up in a secret garden

where the water is still,

the birds are not,

and natures animals

are not afraid of

humans.

WASH DAY PRAYER

Wash Day Prayer

 Monday Wash Day

Lord, help me wash away all my selfishness and
Vanity, so I may serve you with perfect humility
Through the week ahead.

Tuesday Ironing Day

Dear Lord, help me iron out all the wrinkles
Of prejudice I have collected through the years
So that I may see the beauty in others.

Wednesday Mending Day

O God, help me mend my ways so I will not
Set a bad example for others.

Thursday Cleaning Day

Lord Jesus, help me to dust out all the many faults
I have been hiding in the secret corners of my heart.

Friday Shopping Day

O God, give me the grace to shop wisely so I may purchase
eternal happiness for myself and all others
In need of love.

Saturday Cooking Day

Help me, my Savior, to brew a big kettle of brotherly
Love and serve it with clean, sweet bread of human
kindness.

Sunday The Lord's Day

O God, I have prepared my house for you. Please
Come into my heart so I may spend the day and the
Rest of my life in your presence.

THE PURPOSE IN LIFE...
Apr 27, 2009 | 2:33PM

"I think the purpose of life is to be useful, to be responsible, to be honorable, to be compassionate. It is, after all, to matter: to count, to stand for something, to have made some difference that you lived at all."
– Leo Rosten

~ Philosophy For Life ~

Be patient,
Be open minded.
Smile often,
Savor special moments.

Make new friends....
Rediscover the old ones.
Tell them that you love them...
And when you love them,
Feel it deeply.

Ignore worries, forget problems,
Pardon enemies, keep promises.

If you get more than one chance,
try again.
Prize your good ideas.
Try not to make mistakes,
And if you do, learn from them.

Be crazy.
Appreciate miracles when they happen.
Notice where the sun is in the sky,
Listen to the rain.

Watch for rainbows and falling stars.
Look for the beauty around you.

Smile with your heart,
Confide in others.
Give to others,
And be gentle with others, always.

Hope,
Desire,
Grow,
Work hard.... be yourself.

Be understanding when it's needed.
Have confidence in life, have faith

Comfort a friend
Have confidence in yourself.

"ENJOY LIFE!!"
