You have chosen...wisely
Sep 05, 2005 | 9:19AM

It's been awhile since my last blog post, and I'd like to blame it on going out of town twice, having my family come visit, going back to work, and going back to school.  I'd also like to blame it on sunspots, the greenhouse effect, and insurgent groups in the Congo.  But despite the many excuses I could generate, the truth is I have been avoiding the task once again, mostly because I was unable to settle on a topic.

What is it that makes people vary so much on the spectrum of  decisiveness?  There are definitely some people who always know what they want.  These people are annoying; they never let me pick which movie to rent.  Then there are the people who can't seem to decide anything.  I often wonder how they survive without someone helping them choose when to breathe.  I clearly fall on the indecisive end of the scale, though I seem to be able to make a few decisions for myself - I totally picked my own outfit this morning, though I think my neighbors were annoyed when I knocked on all of their doors to get approval.

I think I am going to start a new campaign:  Pro-Choice.  No, it has nothing to do with that ever popular abortion debate that riles the fundamentalists and feminists alike.  Oh no, my friends, I am going to start lobbying for choices to be made by all.  That's right, I am Pro-Making-Choices.  Indecisive-ists, beware!  Your days are numbered!  I'll have 6 senators and an evangelist on my side by the end of the week.  Now, if I only I could decide whether to use email or phone...or letters...or picket signs...or...

I understand your difficulty in decididing what to blog>Mine was on testing this thing out. Then one night it hit me. I also understand the lack of time to post consistently. So hang in there, loks like youn have a good start of what is more like a journal than a blog, but no doubt good and interesting because it is honest and you express yourself very well.Sylvia
