I just finished the first week of my fourth year teaching in a 4th-6th grade elementary special education class.  

 I am VERY tired.

 Part of my new language program includes using a book called "A Word a Day" to enhance vocabulary.  We started on Friday:

 luminous (adj.) - giving off light

 As we were working through the activity, I was thinking that it was very selfish of me to limit the benefit of learning these words to my eight students.  Why shouldn't my blog readers gain as well?
