Tonight is the start of 2006, and here's what I'm doing to celebrate...

For one I'm spending the day with my husband and children, and then later my gal pals and myself are going out for a night on the town.  I'm so excited cause it has been so long since I've really gotten out like this. 

I also have to remember to eat some Black Eyed Peas as it is meant for good luck for the upcoming year and believe me I need as much luck as I can possibly get.

Also, I wanted to know if anyone knows of anymore wives tales like the eating of black eyed peas for good luck? Whatever you can come up with, no matter how crazy it sounds, please let me know.  I would like to put all the ones I hear about and see what creativeness I can come up with.
