To enlighten everyone about what I posted the other day on my yahoo 360...
Well, a few days ago my so-called friend called me while I was in the shower and she acted like it was life and death to call her back right away. Not only was I fresh out of the shower; but, it was late at night, and I needed to give my son a bath and get him ready for bed. Anyways, she was waitressing at a wild club and she wanted me to bring her some extra strength tylenol (and she had other medicine readily available to her too) which was wrong of her to ask me late a night to bring pills to her. I told her that not only did I not know how to get there; that I have obligations at home right now. She started bitching and complaining. I tried to be nice; but, she continued to say hateful things. I don't mind doing things to help friends out; but, she started running her mouth and talking nasty and disrespectful to me and I don't have time for that kind of drama, so, I hung up on her. My hubby heard what she said to me; and he said that I was not overacting and that I shouldn't talk to her if she is going to act this way. I guess she figures that I owe her for things she has done for me...who knows? That to me is not true friendship to give your friend freaking ultimatums...you should do kinds things from your heart not expecting things in return. So, does that mean she owes me as well considering all those times I've dropped what I was doing to help her, talk to her, and there are numerous times I've been busy and did her hair for work and such. Needless to say she has forgotten that...oh well, her loss of a good friend. I won't sell my soul just to keep someone as a friend who just might not be a good friend. She did take me to a few appointments a few days before this incident (and I was totally appreciative); but, she did offer and I paid for her gas. Though, she had the audacity to blame me for her not getting any sleep (I don't keep her up all night). That [censored]ed me off further because it is her freaking waitressing at a club job that causes her to not get any sleep. I mean apparently she did not have my heart in mind as a friend; telling me to bring her something now, like she is the boss of me. Get Real... I have a family that comes first and she is single and still lives with her mom. Not only that; my hubby would have freaked if I went to a place like that; especially, a place I didn't know how to get to in the middle of the night, just to bring her pills. I mean I gave her an almost full bottle of 800 mg of medicine that the Army gave to me and they are powerful...needless to say they are all gone and this was a big bottle. I was yelled at for doing that... I don't know who she thinks she is? I mean god for bid do I not answer the phones, as she always thinks I'm mad at her, and don't get me started about some other things she has said and done to me and such. I got online the other day and read her offline messages; and she told me a bunch of [censored]ty things and said that I had her number and she expects an apology. I don't think so; I didn't ask for her to call me bitching and complaining and being immature jsut because I wasn't going to leave my responsibilities (my family) just to bring her some pills. Gosh, can I have a friend that has it all together...why do I always find those unstable ones. Anyways, please tell me how ya'll feel, I would like your point of views, cause I'm just exasperated.
