It is that time of year again, of first of all St Patties Day, this month


with a few other things :


This is the time of the green, I think it is an encouragement of spring coming..well in some parts of the world it is..

Then there is Easter Time, when Jesus rose from the dead, from the cross:


and what comes with Easter, is the little bunnies, with thier baskets full of colorful eggs, decorated with care and love..

and what comes to show the white and fragrance of so beautiful of a season but the white lilies of Easter?

I hope each and everyone of you, all have a wonderful time of the season..

I was just sitting here, being reminded of what my Easter time used to be like, when the kids were small..it sure is different than now..



When Easter time would come around, I always made a treasure hunt of eggs around the living room, for the girls to find, these being real eggs, not candy eggs, those came after breakfast..it was so much fun, hiding eggs, but not really so they couldn't find them..but yes there were times , we had to do a real search cause it wouldn't do to leave an egg unfounded..would start to smell up the place..lol



And always on my dining room table would be a plant of Easter Lilies, so white and fragrant..oh I used to love the smell of those lilies..planted them in the garden after they had died down a bit..they used to come up the next year even bigger and more fragrant, I couldn;'t believe how big they used to get..

Then there was the big Easter dinner, usually with the parents, and my siblings with thier families..it was so nice, to actually have the dining room table full of people, now this was including the kiddies too..they always sat up with the adults..I love those family get to gethers..now there is nothing like that..things are done so differently now..



So I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter time with your loved ones..and think of why we really have Easter, and what it means..

One of my favorite things is the fantasy world of mermaids..I always think I wonder how real they really are?I live in a province of Canada, that there is a city here, down in Banff, that has a musem with an actual body of a mermaid, or so they say it is..it is not very big, about the size of a six year old child, I guess..so I guess some would say well someone just put it togethe, but , hey, it is possible, that somewhere in this world, there does exist a world of mermaids in the oceans ..WHO KNOWS?

This last Christmas and New Years was totally different for our family..my oldest daughter and her family and myself were all down with this silly sickness that makes a person just not able to converse with other people..or it could make them even sicker..so we decided to set Christmas to another day..later when everyone was feeling better..it was so empty..without the squeals of happiness, and excitement of the grandchildren when they opened thier surprise gifts from everyone..not a Christmas spirit that is for sure..


Now comes the romantic season, Valentines day..do you make your own Valentines, or buy the commercial ones?You know I kind of like making my own..they take time to make, yes, but they are so special, because you take the time to make them how you want them to be, for that special person you want to show them how much you love them, right?


So no matter what choices you make in this wide world, it is up to you, to make the right ones, no matter if it is to do with school, university, work, family, it is all up to you to make that right decision..I just know you are going to make the right one..Have fun everyone..Love and hugs from

that infamous saying, when someone comes up to you , asking what does Christmas mean to you?Well there can be so many different things to remember about it..



To me, my Christmas first of all, is about my family, I have two beautiful daughters, who in turn have three beautiful children, and two husbands..well that is my immediate family..but that is not all of my family, oh no, I have two brothers, who of course through being men, are not all that close to me any more, all the wishing does not make it happen the way I would like it..then there is my cousins, who are like my sisters, we are so close, I love the way we can talk about absolutely anything that comes to mind..now that is what I call family..and then, the family of friends, that is so good to me as well, so I have a large family considering everyone..



Christmas doesn't come only once a year, it is a celebration that covers all year round..Christ is with us , no matter what the time of year it is..this is His Birthday, so lets help Him celebrate it the old fashioned way, with family and friends, whether they be down on thier luck, or well off, in Christ's eyes, they make no difference..or be it even with the soldiers, who are far away from home at this season, Jesus is with them too..watching ..and taking care..

I think Christmas time is one of the best of the year, what better time of the year can you find people skiing on the mountain slopes, or snow boarding down the mountains,or to go tobagganing with the kids..or just going for a walk as the snow is coming down ..what a peaceful time for a walk..


The Christmas colors, now that is so vibrant, don't you agree? the green of the trees, the multi-colored lights on the tree be that inside or on your home..now we have these lights that look like you have icecycles dripping down the eavestroves..beautiful..or the yards that people decorate as much as the inside of the home..



And the seasonal icons, like the SANTA AND THE REINDEER or the ones that all us have made as children, THE SNOWMAN







So EVERYONE JUST ENJOY YOUR CHRISTMAS TIME..BE IT WITH YOUR FAMILY OR ALONE..BECAUSE YOU ARE NEVER REALLY ALONE..RIGHT?

Hi everyone..it has been a while since i wrote up a blog..not much is happening around my place..

My little granddaughter Eden, just turned one on the 14th of nov..and of course since I am so sick, with bronckitis, I chose not to bring it to little Eden and the other grandchildren and other kids that were there..I guess that is one lesson I won't forget..to not be sick when things are happening in the family.

My oldest granddaughter has her birthday on Dec 4th, and her mother, my daughter has her birthday on the 19th, then there is Christmas..well, here's hoping this confounded thing is gone by next tues..that is when Leena has her birthday party, and I sure want to be there for iit..She is turning 6 on that day..man these kids sure do grow up fast..you really start to remember that when grandkids, that just yesterday are babies, then the next thing they are starting school..time sure doesn't stand still..which of course a person is thankful for..

My friend in England has /or is about to go for her operation , a major one, hope she is doing okay..my friend from the states, Sandy has come back in the fold on grab..I knew one day that video game would get boring, thank God it was today..I sure did miss my friend..



Our threads are doing pretty good, for siggy contests..Tori, who has the psp thread contest, chose to change the format of her themes, it has gone over very well..I really like the way she has started doing it..My thread in grab bag, is doing not too bad..it is Christmas seeing as how things are getting closer to that time of year, you can't help but do up tags in the Christmas spirit..
