If you could have any kind of pet, what would it be and what would you name your new pet?  Presently I am unable to tell you whether I will get another pet, just lost this sweet little female cat, she had been abused sometime in her past - I took her in the 3rd of January 2000. She was afraid of everything. They had said that she was 8 yrs old, I think that she was older. She was also sick, had the Vet over twice. She was terrified of feet, boots, shoes, broom, mops etc...I think that she had been kicked around a lot. Finally took almost 5 years for her to become a real cat. I was so glad to C her wiggle her tail when she saw the birds on my balcony.  Then beginning of May 2007 she started being sick, real sick. I rocked her and cried with her. Then she had lost so much weight & she could not longer jump on the sofa....that was it - she was in pain I called the Vet and was euthanized at his clinic. Her name was KittySox. Think that I called  her Sweet Pea most of the time.I had the gift of her complete trust, I am not sure that I will ever find another like her. Sooooooooooo.....still grieving. I have been a pet lover all my life, I had cats all my life. Time will tell. I lost my sister in July 2006 & with the loss of KittySox mourning continues. Time will heal - all this. Sure takes a long time though. Paloma
