I Believe...
Nov 15, 2007 | 1:15AM
I Believe
A Birth Certificate shows that we were born
A Death Certificate shows that we died
Pictures show that we lived!
Relax. And read this slowly.
I believe - That just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other. And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do.
I believe - That we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.
I believe - That no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.
I believe - That true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.
I believe - That you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.
I believe - That it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.
I believe - That you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.
I believe - That you can keep going long after you think you can't.
I believe - That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.
I believe - That either you control your attitude or it controls you.
I believe - That heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.
I believe - That money is a lousy way of keeping score.
I believe - That my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.
I believe - That sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down, will be the ones to help you get back up.
I believe - That sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.
I believe - That maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.
I believe - That it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.
I believe - That no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop for your grief.
I believe - That our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.
I believe - That you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever.
I believe - Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.
I believe - That your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you.
I believe - . That even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you - you will find the strength to help.
I believe - That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.
I believe - That the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.
I believe - That you should send this to all of the people that you believe in. I just did...

The Perfect Dress....
Apr 11, 2007 | 1:31AM
ZING!!!!!!! Gotta love this mom!
Jessica's wedding day was fast approaching. Nothing could dampen her excitement -- not even her parents' nasty divorce. Her mother had found the PERFECT dress to wear and would be the best dressed mother-of-the-bride ever! A week later, Jessica was horrified to learn that her father's new young wife had bought the exact same dress as her mother! Jessica asked her step mom to exchange it, but she refused. "Absolutely not I look like a million bucks in this dress, and I'm wearing it," she replied. Jessica told her mother that her Dad's new wife purchased the exact same dress for the wedding. Her Mom smiled and graciously said, "Never mind sweetheart. I'll get another dress. After all, it's your special day." A few days later, they went shopping and did find another gorgeous dress. When they stopped for lunch, Jessica asked her mother, "Aren't you going to return the other dress? You really don't have another occasion where you could wear it." Her mother just smiled again and replied, "Of course I do, dear. I'm wearing it to the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding."
NOW I ASK YOU - IS THERE A WOMAN OUT THERE, ANYWHERE, WHO WOULDN'T ENJOY THIS STORY? SEND IT TO EVERY WOMAN YOU KNOW !!!!

Great Movies...
Feb 11, 2007 | 2:53AM
I finally got to see DreamGirls yesterday (I'm a little behind in my movies). Everyone told me it was awesome, and they were right. Jennifer Hudson gave me the chills when she sang, she was great. Very moving.

*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Another great movie was The Pursuit of Happyness. It made me cry, and the ending was perfect. Good people Deserve a Happy ending. I love movies baised on a true story, I'll pick those over anything. If you haven't seen this movie yet, go see it!! Will's son is adorable, a great actor for his age.

Dropping a Line...
Jan 14, 2007 | 2:20AM
Wow!!! 486 days since my last post (acutally, I forgot I had a blog page here). I've been on Live Journal and MySpace, so I just thought I drop a line and say that I'm ok (not like anyone ever reads this thing anyway). So far this year sucks . New Years Eve I pulled a muscle in my neck, spent the first 4 hours of the New Year fighting with my fiance, once my neck was better I had the stomach flu that lasted a few days (not fun)...then once I was all better I threw my back out while I was cleaning. Uh-yeah, this sucks! (I'm only 27, I shouldn't be falling apart yet). All that happened in a 2 week span. I really hope this year gets better. Wish me luck, I really think I'm gonna need it.

Drinking & Ebay don't mix
Sep 14, 2005 | 3:18AM
You all know that Drinking and Driving don't mix, that can get you in a lot of trouble. Well, I've got news for you... Drinking and EBAY don't mix either!!!!
I got a package in the mail today and thought " Wow, who sent me something". I searched though the box hoping to find out who it was from and found a little note "Thank you for buying from Blah & Blah, please leave a positive feedback. "What !?!?" Lone be hold, it was me. "When did I buy this piece of crap? I never ordered this !! Damn, it's paid for, now what am I supposed to do with this.....hummmm.....Christmas is comming, but should I be that mean? Why not, I sure a hell don't want it." Now I'm too scared to go to my Ebay account and see what else I bought. I'm just going to wait till it comes in the mail.
So, the point of my story is DON'T DRINK AND PLAY ON EBAY, NOTHING GOOD WILL COME OF IT!!!!!
Save yourself from buying things you never wanted, don't send yourself a Really Bad Gift.
I hope this helps everyone and Happy Bidding, NO WAIT... I mean, Have a Great Day and hope every surprise is a Good one.

Work Day Blues
Sep 03, 2005 | 7:01PM
I got bored at work and wrote this, hope everyone enjoys it. ~~Sarah T.~~
Work Day Blues
Sitting here at work
bored out of my mind,
trying to find something to pass the time.
No paperwork to do
I did it early today
I wish we had recess
so I could go out and play.
My day just barely started
and I already want to bail,
I guess it's time to check my e-mail.
These walls are getting smaller
I don't know what to do,
Hey look, I got a message from you.
That brighented my day,
I guess it's not that bad
What...six hours to go
this place is driving me mad !!
I think I'll leave early
and leave this place behind,
maybe go somewhere exotic
as long as I'm back tomorrow by nine.
Then my day starts all over again
and again, and again, and again.
Hey wait, I forgot
I get a 3 day weekend !!!

The Mayonnaise Jar
Sep 01, 2005 | 7:12PM
I got this in an e-mail and just wanted to share it with everyone, it has a good message. Have a great Day !!! ~~~Sarah~~~
The Mayonnaise Jar
When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar...and the coffee...
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "yes."
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed. "Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, " I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things - your God, family, your children, your health, your friends, and your favorite passions-things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car. The sand is everything else-the small stuff."
"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children.. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

A Little About Me
Aug 31, 2005 | 3:57AM
Well, I'm new to this whole Blog thing. I feel a little strange writing my life down for anyone to read, kinda like when your little brother stole your Diary and read it to everyone ( a little exposed ). But I am an adult now and have nothing to hide. So, I'll just write about me, since my Grab homepage doesn't give me that much space.
I'm 25, born in Michigan, moved to California when I was 7. I don't like it here, too hot and the people are mean. People here just don't have any consideration for others, they only care about themselves. Well...why don't I move? Good question...first, I was too scared and didn't want to move somewhere and hate it even more. Now, my job keeps moving me up, I want to stick it out and see how high up in the company I can get. I started as a hostess 2 years ago, got promoted to Food & Beverage Supervisor, now I'm applying for F & B Manager. We'll see how that goes.
I'm a Vegetarian, have been since I was 14. Even as a child I never really liked meat, it used to make Mom mad when she would order me a steak and I'd never eat it. I don't think it's right to kill helpless animals and eat them, they have a right to live just like everyone else. But if you want to eat meat, fine. That's your decision. But I'm an animal lover, that's probably why I have so many Cats. Growing up we had just about everything, cats, birds, bunnies, hamsters, fish, mice, a guinea pig, a frog, had a dog for about a week but he ate all our sprinklers so we had to get rid of him, I even had a baby squirrel for a few days.
I love writing, poetry mostly. Had my first on published when I was 15. Love taking pictures, I always have a camera with me, even if it's only my camera phone. I have a few of my pictures on my Grab homepage. I'll add more in a week or so when I get my pictures developed. I don't do the whole digital thing, don't see the point. Why bother taking a picture if your just going to delete it or let it sit in your camera for an insane amout of time. There's no art behind it if you ask me.
I have a Boyfriend I've been with for over 4 & a half years now, no kids, and don't even ask about marriage. I have no idea, he can't make up his mind. It's ok for him to bring up the subject, but when I do, he feels presured. What does that mean? Whatever, that's why I don't bring it up anymore, I can't seem to win. Oh-well, only time will tell.
Wow, it's after 4 in the morning, I talk too much.
