GREAT LOSS ...7/17/08 Jul 17, 2008 \| 8:34AM Hello Friends... This week has been a real "bummer " for me ...I lost a very dear friend ... God called her home on Monday evening,July 14, 2008...She was only 67 yrs old. Ann and I had been friends for nearly 40 years and she was my bride's attendant when I was married.. She lost her 2 year battle with cancer and finally liver failure...I am missing her already and my heart is heavy as lead... Today and tomorrow are her visitation and funeral... Please say a prayer for Ann's sons , their families and her many friends who are mourning her at this time... I also ask you to bear with me if I am a bit 'off the wall' and slow about getting to your blogs... As always , thank you for being there for me. So many of us are, in times of crisis , very supportive of each other..That is what makes this site special to me... It is about the wonderful people I have met here....hugsss...Pat

Omg Pat, so sorry for the loss of your friend, you and her family will be in my thoughts n prayers. I lost my best friend 21 yrs ago to cancer, she was only 43, I still miss her today. Take care and may God be with you in your time of need. Love, hugs n blessings my friend

I know the pain you are going through as I just lost a dear friend of 30 years to cancer. None of us know when we will go home that's all in our Father's hands.

My deepest condolences on the loss of your friend, Ann. She is with the Father now and in perfect health; thus we can rejoice about that anyway. Losing a close friend is like losing part of your family. I lost my closest friend two years ago at age 52, so I know what you're feeling. My thoughts and prayers go with you and Ann's family. Pat, I am so sorry for the loss of your dear friend. I know how heavy your heart must be. I lost 2 of my closest friends within 3 months of each other and it was so difficult to endure. I didn't think I would ever stop mourning, but I came to realize that my friends wouldn't have wanted me to be so sad and crying all the time. I know that they are in a much better place now. Your friend will no longer be suffering and is in peace now. You are in my thoughts and prayers, may you find comfort during this difficult time.

Im so sorry for your loss of your friend. I know how you feel. I lost my best friend 2 1/2yrs ago....and Im still grieving. It is unbelievable the void this left for me.
My heart..thoughts.. and prayers go out to you and to this sweet lady's family and other friends.

Oh my Dear Pat, I am there with you...I know what you are feeling. My bestfriend Anne died of cancer also and there is just never replacing her. I know she walks with the angels now. She was such a good soul and lovely girl...My prayers are with you at this time and I will try to be patient for your blogs. Not really worried about the blogs as I am you.
