Mom Doing Laundry with Her Kids Clipart Picture

Good afternoon friends...Here's a little laundry tip for removing stains ..even cooking grease or machine oil..

This is not my invention but for the life of me I can't remember where I got it...Anyway, I passing it on for anyone who wants to use it...It really works for me and it has for years...It's also cheaper than the expensive stuff you buy at the store...It's better by far than oxy products.

Get yourself a plastic spray bottle with the measurement numbers on the side... Mine is a 24 oz measurement that I bought at a lumber company called "Do It Center"  I'm sure other places have them too.  Well, here is the mixture:

***************

In the spray bottle, _MIX 3 EQUAL PARTS :

1.Dawn dish detergent (or other good degreasing dish product)

2.Amonia ( I use the uncloudy lemon but the plain  will work)

   3.  Water

Swish the mixture in the bottle to completely blend it...

****************

I've used this concoction for more years than I can remember and it has never failed me...I have even gotten out stains from red soda pop and fruit juices like grape, blueberries and red berries...even red wine...All  you do is spray the stained area with the solution just before you put it in the washer...It doesn't harm colors or make them "bleed"..It has never harmed any type of washable fabric either.. But as with all products you might want to test an inconspicuos spot...If any of you  try this let me know what  you think of it...

Hugsss...Pat

I was born and raised in Indiana, USA...My growing years were spent on a farm where I worked along side my father when I wasn't in school, doing whatever needed done...The work was hard , the days were long...But I was blessed with good health and a lot of strength, and farm work kept me physically fit and mentally alert...It gave me a sense of independence that benefits me as an adult...
