Beautiful Pictures
The most beautiful pictures
hanging in memories hall
are the thoughts of the ocean,
that was the best of all.
Not for the rumbling waves
rushing in and out to sea
not for the sun's warmth
shinning its light on me.
Not for the feel of sand
running in and out of my toes,
nor for the salty air
something far better it shows.
For once we walked beside
the ocean, you and me,
together our love bloomed
that was the best, you see.
All the most beautiful pictures
hanging in memories hall,
was the time spent with you...
that was the best of all.
