Sunday in Australia
Jul 14, 2007 | 4:00PM
Just an update as what things are like " Down Under " It is very cold, and the first sunny day for a while. We had some rain which will help the drought but some people got terrible floods. I think about all my lovely "Net Friends" around the Globe and the distance between us. I read this Quote and I thought you would love it." If the shortest distance between two points is a line, why does waiting in a line take so long?"I hope you are all blessed this day. Bette

From Downunder
Jul 04, 2007 | 7:15AM
Hi everyone at Grab. it has been a while since I have written a Post but the year has just gone so quickly that I am scared if i BLINK!! it will be next christmas. Well we have had rain here in Victoria and where i live it has been a blessing but some poor people have had the worst Floods in 20 years. Perhaps it is God's way of cleansing the earth.I think these things make people stronger as like true Aussies they get on with it and move on. You have probably all read where the Terrorists have been caught here in the last couple of days before they could do any damage like they did in the UK. Perhaps instead of making Bombs and blowing themselves up they should play Games on Grab to fill in their time and send the grey matter on a different track. What do you all think? It is Winter here and cold so instead of wasting Gas on the Central Heating I may go to my Bed and say Good-night and Blessings to all my wonderful Friends.Bette from Ballarat.

WOULDN'T IT BE

Wouldn't it be lovely if we all looked out for one and other!.There are a lot of lonely older people and young people in need of something out there and some of them live alone and need someone to talk to and perhaps help them and I think it would be nice if we all know of someone in these circumstances to give them a call on the Telephone or pay a visit or maybe a drive on Sunday which I think is the loneliest day of the week for some. Today some of us don't even know our Neighbors so Smile and say Hello to someone today and see how good it makes you feel. From an Aussie to you all on Grab" G'day G'day from BALLARATBH

Quote for today

How are all you people out there. It is a scorcher here where I live in Victoria. We are not used to 35 plus degrees and we have had it for the last couple of weeks and still no Rain. Are there any Aged people on Grab that would like to chat to me from other parts of Australia and maybe challenge me to a Word Game?I have met some lovely Ladies from playing games on Grab and now we are good internet Friends. I read this and I think the Quote applies to we Computer users."The World is but a Canvas to our imaginations"by Henry David Thoreau.Cheers Bette

Quote for today
Feb 12, 2007 | 4:08PM
Hi to all my Friends who accept my Challenges and to those who don't. It is lovely to spend time on Grab and play Games when TV is boring. The year is passing quickly but I think it does that when you are in the Twilight Years. My Quote for today is a Chinese Proverb"Mutual confidence is the pillar of Friendship" Blessings Bette
