This has been an issue that has torn a room apart. Everyone should and certainly is entitled to voice their opinion without leaving the room, etc. because they disagree. Once happy go lucky chatters, a line was drawn, and it is so sad.
After argument was heated for a few days, I decided to just bbl when teen appeared, and not cause further damage to room. I never cussed a teen.
For doing bbl, I was personally attacked and "put in my place" (so she thinks) by this teen who came back in under another name and had decent chat with adults for a while before announcing who she was. Others in room applauded her, though they had disagreed with teens being in room earlier. My position on teens is that they are not all trouble makers, though some definitely are and cuss like sailors; my position is that when she came back in the room under assumed name, the conversation was as graphic and colorful as it sometimes is, adults having fun, and I felt morally irresponsible that a teen participated. I hate seeing, "Shhhh, teen in room." Why should we?
The really sad thing is, there's nothing we can do about it, they don't have to report ages. So, I will continue to bbl and be able to live with my conscience the best I can. Thanks for listening. Might lose my purple swirly thingy lol, but had to get this off my chest. Love y'all and really enjoy the time we spend chatting! Have a great day -Bev
