It's Carnival time in my country again... WOW.... what fun! Dancing in the streets to soca and steelband music. Wonderful costumes and everyone having a ball. It's a great way to release your stress and worries. Lovely sunshine to highlight the beautiful colors of the masqueraders, it's a sight to behold.

Tomorrow is cool down time on the beaches with delicious food and music... although it's suppose to be back to work... lol.

Carnival in Trinidad is really the BEST!

As the title says.....it's back to work on Monday. Too bad, I was really now starting to enjoy the vacation. Now it's over, in the blink of an eye.....Well, on the bright side, the beach party for my dad was great! Had a blast! I really enjoyed battling the waves and frolicking in the sand. It was good to be with all my family members and just chillin'....  the perfect way to end the vacation. My daughter enjoyed it quite a lot also. Now she's just grumbling over school tomorrow. LOL!

Well, I'm trying to write a Blog and wondering what I got myself into. Have my 13yr old daughter next to me to help out. Here goes ........

Still at home on vacation from school, last couple of days left as I go back to teaching on Monday, Sept, 05. Have to get the correct mind set to face those 9 yr olds.

However, my dad's 75th birthday is this Saturday and we are planning to spend it at a beach house... looking forward to the family get together with bbq & my fav 'rum+ coca-cola'.... My daughter says: WOOT!!! BEACH LIME!!! . LOL she's pretty excited, I guess I am too :)
