UPDATE ON SASSARINA
Mar 01, 2007 | 2:00PM
HERE IS AN UPDATE ON SASSARINA. SHE WOUND UP GETTING AN INFECTION AND THE DOCTORS WOUND UP OPENING HER BACK UP AGAIN TO GET RID OF THE INFECTION. HER HUSBAND SAID THAT HE IS STILL HOPING THAT SHE CAN COME HOME EARLY NEXT WEEK. SO PLEASE CONTINUE TO HAVE HEALING THOUGHTS AND PRAYING FOR HER SPEEDY RECOVERY.
ON ANOTHER NOTE, ONE THAT IS DEAR TO MY HEART (not that sassarina isn't dear to my heart too): MY SON IN KENTUCKY AND HIS FIANCEE DELIVERED MY GRANDDAUGHTER THREE WEEKS EARLY.
ON FEBRUARY 28TH, BREHANNA GABRIELLE JADE WEDGE WAS BORN, WEIGHING 6lbs 3oz's AND 18' LONG. MY SON TELLS ME THAT SHE LOOKS LIKE HIM ALOT. I CAN HARDLY WAIT TO GET PICTURES SO THAT I CAN PUT THEM ON THE COMPUTER SO THAT EVERYONE OF MY FRIENDS CAN SEE HER.
I THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR HEALING THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS FOR MY SISTER, SASSARINA. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
HUGS AND KISSES!

Please Pray for my sister, sassarina
Feb 21, 2007 | 3:27PM
there are some on grab that know my sister, sassarina. as you know she had her surgery today for her hernia. they had to open her up for the surgery instead of doing the easier method that she mentioned on her blog. the surgery took five hours to do.
my brother in law phoned us here in texas with the news. she came through the surgery like a trooper he said. i do not know when she will be released to come home at this time.
my brother in law said to keep up the healing thoughts and prayers that all of her sisters here on grab (and brothers) have been sending her. the good lord had blessed the doctors hands, and now what we need is more of the same to guide in her recovery so that she can rejoin us here on grab.
god bless you all for your caring, and may he continue to bless everyone here on grab.

I AM METH-worth the read!
Jan 08, 2007 | 2:01PM
"I AM METH"
(This was written by a young Indian girl who was in jail for drug charges, and was addicted to meth. She wrote this while in jail. As you will soon read, she fully grasped the horrors of the drug, as she tells in this simple, yet profound poem. She was released from jail, but, true to her story, the drug owned her. They found her dead not long after her release.
Please keep praying for our Children, Grand Children, Teens, Young adults. Understand,............ this thing is worse than any of us realize...
My Name: "Is Meth" I destroy homes, I tear families apart, take your children, and that's just the start. I'm more costly than diamonds, more precious than gold, The sorrow I bring is a sight to behold. If you need me, remember I'm easily found, I live all around you - in schools and in town. I live with the rich; I live with the poor, I live down the street, and maybe next door. I'm made in a lab, but not like you think, I can be made under the kitchen sink. In your child's closet, and even in the woods, If this scares you to death, well it certainly should. I have many names, but there's one you know best, I'm sure you've heard of me, my name is crystal meth. My power is awesome; try me you'll see, But if you do, you may never break free. Just try me once and I might let you go, But try me twice, and I'll own your soul. When I possess you, you'll steal and you'll lie, You do what you have to -- just to get high. The crimes you'll commit for my narcotic charms Will be worth the pleasure you'll feel in your lungs, your nose, and your arms. You'll lie to your mother; you'll steal from your dad, When you see their tears, you should feel sad. But you'll forget your morals and how you were raised, I'll be your conscience, I'll teach you my ways. I take kids from parents, and parents from kids, I turn people from God, and separate friends. I 'll take everything from you, your looks and your pride, I'll be with you always -- right by your side. You'll give up everything - your family, your home, Your friends, your money, then you'll be alone. I'll take and take, till you have nothing more to give, When I'm finished with you, you'll be lucky to live. If you try me be warned - this is no game, If given the chance, I'll drive you insane. I'll ravish your body, I'll control your mind, I'll own you completely, your soul will be mine. The nightmares I'll give you while lying in bed, The voices you'll hear, from inside your head. The sweats, the shakes, the visions you'll see, I want you to know, these are all gifts from me. But then it's too late, and you'll know in your heart, That you are mine, and we shall not part. You'll regret that you tried me, they always do, But you came to me, not I to you. You knew this would happen, many time s you were told, But you challenged my power, and chose to be bold. You could have said no, and just walked away, If you could live that day over, now what would you say? I'll be your master, you will be my slave, I'll even go with you when you go to your grave. Now that you have met me, what will you do? Will you try me or not? It's all up to you. I can bring you more misery than words can tell, Come take my hand, let me lead you to hell.
If you care, please forward this poem and share the deadly outcome of a drug that is killing our young.

So far so good!
Jan 06, 2007 | 11:13AM
Well, so far we have gotten the drivers side window replaced on our truck. It was almost $200.00 to replace it. Now, all we have to worry about is the rear glass, that my brother calls the back light. That is going to cost us an arm and a leg to replace.
On another story to tell is about my trying to download a picture of our pet dog, Rosco. I tried four times to download it and there was no picture, so I hollered at my computer whiz of a son and he did it for me. So tomorrow I will have Rosco's picture on the pets album.

Not a Good Start
Jan 02, 2007 | 1:46PM
It all started on the 29th and the 30th of December, yep, that is when our troubles began.
On the 29th, some yahoo shot out our back window on our 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. We reported it to the sheriff, and he took down our imfo. Unfortunately, no one saw the person that did the deed.
On the 30th, the same person (more that likely) shot out our drivers side window of the same truck. We reported it to the sheriff again, and they said that they would set up a parole at night, since that is when it happened, while we slept.
Today, on the 2nd of January, we called around to get estimates on the two windows and the price was staggering. The total was about $500.00. Our deductable on our insurance is $200.00 and we do not know yet if this is even covered.
Please pray for us. I pray daily that when we get up in the morning that another window is not shot out of the truck. I know that the rest of us here pray for the same thing.
