Survivor behind the scenes tidbits
Aug 15, 2005 | 4:35PM

Here is some info from a interesting, new blog. I have no idea who their source is or how accurate the info is. It’s an good read though.

Survivor Thoughts from Iowa

My source for this information said I could tell her name, but she thinks it’d be more fun if I used a code name for her: Deep Foam.

I don’t know what that means.

What I do know is she has some reliable information that I can share with all of you. No boot predictions, but some details and a few clues to the personalities of our Maya Survivors.

Details first. They have at least one machete on each tribe as well as botas. Yaxha at least has salt and flour. Not certain if they won it or if both tribes start with some food. They most likely run into some rain early on (what a shock - they’re in the jungle). And, as TDT figured out, Yaxha is definitely the blue tribe. I’ve seen a picture of the flag.

On to personalities:

Jim has a good chance of annoying the women on his tribe. He’s considering hiding the fact that he was a fireman and is very aware that a fireman won last season. Most interesting to me is that he knows some sort of yoga or perhaps Tai Chi.

Judd is extremely proud of being a New Yorker (although he lives in New Jersey…). He doesn’t like people who don’t talk.

Margaret’s strategy is going to be under the radar.

Brandon is willing to do just about anything. And he knows how to juggle.

Danni directs the building of the shelter. She may not be the only one, but she definitely has a hand in it. Her nickname is Redneck Barbie. And she admits to this!

Blake doesn’t want to be the leader or do anything that might draw attention to himself, like fire starting. He does plan on working hard and being a provider.

Brooke says her faith in God is the important thing in her life. And she knows how to pretend to break her nose.

Cindy likes animals more than people. Could end up the loner on the tribe. If betrayed, she’ll be devastated.

Gary is a bit of a religious nut. He’s also working hard to set up the shelter. Like Jim, he plans to hide his identity as he thinks being an ex-NFL QB could be a detriment to chances.

Amy believes that in her work as a cop she has learned how to see through deceptive people. Her strategy is to remain positive no matter what happens. And she can do just amazing things with her tongue. I kid you not.

Rafe describes himself as a gay Mormon Ivy League grad wilderness guide. He says he can be emotional and understanding of other people and use that to his advantage.

Morgan is afraid being impulsive and not thinking before speaking will be her downfall. I tend to agree with her.

Brian thinks he the most brilliant person on the planet. He also plans to hide his incredible intelligence because he thinks people will fear him and vote him out. Ha. He’s a total fan, seen every season, knows all the players. Believes determination will carry him through.

Edited because I forgot to include my least favorite Survivor of the season:

Brianna comes across as a bitch. She knows she has to keep her mouth shut and her attitude in check, but it seems unlikely she’ll be able to do so. Also, don’t expect her to bond with the other women. Her only chance is to join an alliance of men.

(I got nothing on Lydia and Jamie.)
