Queen Of The Bottom 3 Is On Top
Aug 25, 2005 | 9:47AM
The big queston was "will the good performers who had a bad night be in the bottom three or will they be spared based on past performances"?

They showed a lot of background info tonight and made it into an hour long show. It seems to be building steam now that the number of singers is getting smaller. There was lots of conversation among the singers at the mansion. Nothing you wouldn't expect.

Suzie was choosen to do the encore. She rocked it again. She was too much fun to watch sing Start Me Up. Yes, another stage dive at the end. I loved it.

Conversation tonight was that Marty went too hard core last night, but wanted to "be himself". They mentioned "The Scary Conductor Guy" with Marty. If you've seen him perform, you'd understand. That was funny. Deanna was still in her comfort zone, but she did it to "be herself". JD sucked up to the band. Suzie brought a hat that said "Queen Of The Bottom 3" and was ready for the bottom again. She's been there a bunch of times.

They had the three that were announced last night stand up. They were Deanna, Ty, and Jordis. Then Brooke said that the others who were in the bottom 3 at some time during the evening should also stand up. They were JD, Marty, and Mig. Yes, folks, do the math quickly. Suzie was the only one left sitting down. She was NEVER in the bottom 3 at any time, while every one else was at some time. Congratulations Suzie.

Then they had people sit back down. The final 3 were Ty, Deanna, and Marty. Yes, Marty. His song was really bad last night, so it didn't surprise me, but still. It was down to him or Jordis. They had each announced, then sing their song before the next was announced. Jordis looked really freaked out by not being chosen. She said she deserved it.

Ty sang What You Need and did a solid job. Not bad, but not feeling it either. He kinda got emotional in his comments. He really wanted the job. Deanna was next and did a great job on Elegantly Wasted. Her voice fit and it was dead center in her comfort zone. She nailed it. Last came Marty and he did a really good job on Don't Change. He was actually kind of "pop" singing this one. It wasn't as hard core as last night and he sounded really good.

The final decision came down to Ty and Deanna, as Marty was told to sit down. It was an emotional moment as Deanna was told that she was going home. She cried. Ty cried. Suzie cried. Mig cried. It was tough on everyone.

It getting to the point where everyone is really good. For Deanna to be in the top 7 in this is really good for her. Next week, we'll hope that JD goes home. It's getting tough to choose.

Who will go home next week? Tell us in the forum...
