What's the difference between a man and a prison?

A prison, at least, has got grey cells

sorry to the men who are offended by the joke, but i didn't make it

don't shoot the messenger, please

and there's is a whole lot more for those who are interrested

Friday morning a soldier goes to his sergeant and asks for a leave for the weekend

"I'm gone be a dad" he says

The sergeant agrees and the soldier goes home

Next monday, the sergeant sees the soldier again and asks:" Well, what was it, boy or girl?"

The soldier answers: "In nine months time, you will be the first to know, sergeant"

as promised here's the answer

I don't know either, but it must be something really special

"as far as i understood they made it up themselves at camp, so keeping in mind, they're only eleven, I think they did really well"

hope you didn't put the brain in overload trying to figure it out, if you did

mea culpa and please don't hold a grudge

riddle
Jul 28, 2006 | 7:04AM

my daughter came home from camp with a really funny riddle

at least that's what we thought

here goes

What is as light as a feather when it's wet

as heavy as an elephant when it's dry

has stripes when it's light

has squares when it's dark

is as tiny as a mouse when thrown up in the air

and grows about fifty times when you go sit on it?

i could'n figure it out, maybe one of you can?

next blog, i'll give you the answer

I'm a belgian lady
I grew up in a little village with two sisters and a brother under the watchfull eye of my parents
Went on studying nursing, but couldn't be bothered to go for the highest grade (regardless what the parents said)
Finished study's succesfully, started working as a nurse and enjoyed my life
Met my former husband and we finally got hitched at the age of twenty-seven
My daughter was born four years later
Kept feeling guilty about the lower grade of study's and when given the chance, i tried to do something about it - went back to school being a mother, a wife aswell as a fulltime nurse
It was hard, but two years later, i got the so much wanted degree
Got divorced due to unsolvable differences
Went back home, found a flat in the town where i work (close to the parents) and moved in with my daughter about a year ago
Since then it's been going great (even get along with my ex now)
No doubt due to all the love and support from my family
I'm alive again!!
