the TT is    very close and noone has  posted about the      hundred year races, i find this rather disconcerting......... in all the posts here, i honestly thought that i would speak to someone about it,...........

I have to say.. I love our family camping holidays, we have a huge tent and all the equipment to make camping a comfort, we take the dog to a few camp sites ,and have met loads of friends from all walks of life,,, the wildlife is amazing, even in Wales and Scotland, we have watched Badgers, Deer, and the most colourful avian migrations! :)

The Isle of Man is a beautiful island with the best motor bike time trial in the world, I have been brought up with bikes and the lifestyle that goes with it, and the TT is an experience anyone with a love of the motorbike fraternity should experience, next year heralds the 100th birthday of the TT and the Island promises to be busting at the seams., ( the hotels and campsites., Ferries and Air travel, were all fully booked by the end of the middle of last year for the TT!!)..pretty awesome for an island that measures 66 by 48 miles!!

The trips the Island and Wales have been the pinackle of our family for generations, with the odd trip to south england, and america to see family(.(mum and dad the states))...( oh and one trip to amsterdam for children in need).. I have a fear of flying!.

There is a saying, and i dont know who said it, but, it goes something like this...

why visit places unseen ., when the country you reside in remains a hidden treasure to your eye!

Im a mum of 2, in my 30's..

Im a pet lover through and through, we have 2 cats, one dog, and 2 parrots. My husband and I are both Sea Cadet Officers, he is a Petty Officer, and I am a Marine Sergeant, out eldest daughter is one of the senior cadets, and our youngest will start the juniors on her 9th birthday, a year earlier than is usual, but has been allowed because of our commitments!

 My goal through cadets is to be able to give to the younger generations, the same  promises and supports I had in my youth, to allow them access to find new goals and aspiraions in life, and to be honest and constructive members of the community, through support of their strengths ,and time commited to allowing them to try new ventures!

Im the Duke of Edinburgh coordinator for our unit, and hope to see plenty of gold award acchievers!.

I have an extensive library of my own, totalling in nearly 2k books, (to the extent that the upstairs back bedroom, and the attic have had to have support for the flooring., ( its surprising how heavy books are)

I recon that is all about me that is interesting, apart from that one day, I would love to own my own company doing bridal hair and makeup. I started marketting and doing a business plan, but now isnt the right time to start up., I intend to do so as soon as Im able!

Im a pretty easy to get on with person., and I look forward to meeting people of the same mind!
