 I read this and my first thought was stronger..........stronger how.  It had nothing to do with being and athlete.  It had everything to do with being more self confident. 

The thing is, and guys chime in any time, that most men I know think that ANY woman is sexier when they are more confident with themselves.  You can, in your own minds eye, be too fat, too skinny, too blonde, too brunette, too short, too tall, too...........whatever.  A woman who knows who she is, who is proud to be who she is, is confident with herself; that's the woman that ALL men want to be with. 

So what do I want to be?  Smarter!  Because smart women know their worth!

So I need to update my blog do I?  SOME people seem to think so so here it goes...

WHERE THE HECKS ARE MY "I WANNA"'s?

I popped in earlier and they were there, no problem.  I just popped on again and they're gone!  I know I only had four, become a geek, organize my office, shut stupid poiticians the heck up and one I can't remember.  Anybody remember?  I know, so memorable that even I don't know....geez!

There, does that constitute updating my blog?

Ok, fine, I'll do more, but it will have to wait until tomorrow cuz I need to get dinner.

My oldest has suddenly decided to grow.  That child has grown, I kid you not, 7 inches in 6 months!  Complaints about leg pain has been almost nightly.

So who's taller.............it ain't me!!!!!

GRRRRR!!!!!!  Having to look up at your child to scold them............LMAO!!!!!!!

Yup, I've been a bit sappy lately.  I miss my old friends, and want to get to know my newer friends more.  And I've been generally sappy.

Why you ask?  With good reason, trust me!

I have known three people who have brain anurisms (sp......i suck at spelling!).  Two of these truly dear friends have died.  Laura and Doug.  Laura died at 28, leaving her youngest at 14 months old.  Doug had been recently married with a wonderful step-daughter who watched him die at the age of 10.  Both of these were EXTREMELY tragic.  They were both really awesome people!!

Now my friend Diedra's husband Robert has been struck with the same issue.  Robert made it.......kind of.  He's been in the ICU for several months.  Diedra has had the strength of a mule!  She is there EVERY day talking to him, loving him, supporting him.   Robert has made little progress.   He still has no more function than he did a few months ago, but Diedra is holding on to hope and praying every day for this strong man.  He occasionally opens his eyes.  Occasionally tugs her hand.  Occasionally tries to speak.  That's the extent of his communication.

I've watched over the years as my friends have come and gone and I thank God every day for the wonderful people I call friends.

So, am I being a bit (or a lot) sappy lately?  You betcha!  Am I glad I have good friends?  Damn straight!

Today is my birthday.  Yes, it's the big one that all women supposedly dread.  I don't care.  I'll take getting older to the alternative and become an obstinant old cat loving nut if I must, but somehow doubt.

My question is what now?  Do I get kicked out of my favorite rooms?  Will I be bannished to old folk rooms?  Will my underaged friends ignore me?  Will I have to make friends with the cat loving nutters of the world?  I doubt any of this will happen.  I don't even think I put down the right date for my birthday on my profile when I joined.  Frankly, I didn't think anyone needed to know and I get perturbed when people come in a room asking for my a/s/l.  In a certain aged room there really is no need to bother.

In my real life, I thought it was funny when people asked if I was just going to repeat my previous age.  Hell no!  It was great at the time, but being wiser has it's advantages even if it comes with a wrinkle or two.  There's always botox!

For some strange reason, it show's this post as August 31st.  Really and truly, I posted it on September 3rd!  My Birthday is September 3rd!!!!!!!  LOL!

I am a very happy mommy today.  Have you seen the commercial with the dad riding around on the shopping cart picking up school supplies?  Yup, that would be me too.  One child goes back on the 29th and the other on the 6th.  No more fighting over the video games.  No more running from camp to camp.  No more kids staying up so flipping late that it drives you insane.  No.  That soon will all be a distant memory.  Right after the cruise I go for next weekend. 

Geez, it just seems like I don't even have 5 flippin' minutes to write a blog, but I figure that if I had 5 minutes to tell my friend Scooter this one, I should really let all my friends know.

Some know and some don't and some just don't have that good of memories, but a few months ago I got my real estate license in CA. I joined a company that just isn't me. Ok, I admit it, I need some hand holding. But of course that might be because the first company I picked didn't even bother to teach me how to write a BASIC contract! How would you like an agent that didn't know how to fill out the paperwork? Might not be such a good thing when most ppl are making the LARGEST purchase of their life! Hello, good morning and good lawdy!!!!!

Ok, so I'm in the process of switching so officially I'm not affiliated with broker (in CA you have to be affiliated with a broker to write anything including your name), but that will take me all of 30 seconds.

Just hope that my old company after 10 weeks knows how much I appreciate all the training and support!
