The Thrill of World of Warcraft Gold PvP (Player vs Player)
Sep 07, 2008 | 11:53PM

wow gold

Player vs. player (PvP) combat in World of Warcraft, for those who love the thrill of it, is one of the most entertaining elements. This is wow gold especially true for those near or at the level cap, though PvP at other level ranges is of interest to a variety of players, as well. One form of PvP is often referred to as World PvP. This involves random PvP throughout the various open zones of the world, often wow gold times outside raid instances, as well. World PvP is quite exciting at times, especially on PvP servers, where one must watch his or her back whilst leveling, lest one suffer a surprise wow gold assault at an inconvenient time. Sometimes this can become group PvP, as well, a rather self-explanatory term referring to PvP-ing while in a group either versus lone targets or other groups. However, the most popular form of PvP at this time would be battlegrounds: instanced zones much like dungeons allowing only a limited number of players on each side to engage one another in a selected area of combat. The wow gold various battlegrounds would include Alterac Valley, currently the largest one allowing 40 players per side, and Warsong Gulch, currently the smallest, which has a capture-the-flag style of warfare allowing ten players per side. Each battleground varies in the manner in which victory is determined. For example, Alterac Valley requires the death of the enemy general, while in Warsong Gulch the victor is decided by whichever side captures three flags first. The rewards also vary. While the main interest of most PvP-ers is gaining honor points from slaying opponents and bonus honor from participating in the various battlegrounds, many are also in it for the reputation rewards. Each of the wow gold current four battlegrounds is also home to a certain faction. Stormpike/Frostwolf, for example, is the home faction in Alterac Valley. The various factions allow players to gain a variety of reputation rewards in addition to the honor points gained during the battle. Battlegrounds are also currently the fastest and easiest method of gaining the honor points required to buy the PvP class sets. Another somewhat new addition to PvP is the Arena system. The Arena system allows players to purchase a team charter and, through this, establish an arena team to compete in the various sections such as 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5. Winning arena games increases the team ranking, while losing reduces the team ranking. The higher the ranking wow gold the more arena points are gained at the end of a particular week. Much like honor points, you are required to spend a number of arena points per item you wish to buy. In general, Arena gear is superior to normal PvP gear, but it is often earned by those wearing the PvP gear sets. One final point: obviously acquiring a team is a requirement for the Arena, as teaming up in the Arena can greatly increase your ability to survive, as well as your enjoyment and general sanity level while grinding through the battlegrounds. It is also in your best interests to locate a teammate while attempting the honor grind. It always helps to have someone you trust watching your back. So, go forth and enjoy the battle!

Winning Souls to Christ in The World of Warcraft Gold

Billy Houston, a Landover Baptist Senior High youth, has been sharing Jesus in the virtual gaming world for over three years. “I evangelized in Lineage 2, Everquest, Diablo, and a bunch of other games,” he says, “but I ??? haven”t seen nearly as many people who are as open to hearing the Gospel message as I have inside the World of Warcraft.” Billy has what gamers call, a Level 57 Undead Priest with Holy Focus. “I”m also in one of the largest Christian guilds on our server,” he says. “I think the reason so many people ???? are open to hearing about Jesus in the World of Warcraft is because the majority of people who play the game are lonely kids who don”t have any friends.

Christian game enthusiasts around the US are turning the world of Azeroth inside the new video game, “World of Warcraft” into a mission field, where virtual battles are fought and real souls are won to ???? the Lord Jesus Christ.

I doubt any of them play sports so you can pretty much guess that there are lots of gay boys and fat little pale-faced Wiccan girls on the servers who hate themselves and escape into virtual characters so they don”t have to deal with ???? their pathetic lives. When they hear that someone loves them, even if it is just the Lord Jesus Christ, they always want to hear more!”

I also think that wow gold verse applies to Christian astronaut missionaries in the future who will encounter and evangelize unsaved alien life forms on other planets. I believe with my whole heart that Christian gamers are sincerely answering the Great Commission ???? of Jesus and we are able to do it without getting out of our chairs or leaving our bedrooms. I bet the Apostle Paul is so jealous!”

The World of Warcraft is ripe for eager young Christian evangelists to ply their trade. “I”m studying to be a missionary at Liberty University, in Lynchburg, Virginia,” says one gamer (who prefers to remain anonymous) and sharing ???? the Good News of Jesus in Azeroth is a great way to practice soulwinning in Arkansas, where I”m from originally. I think that when Jesus said in Mark 16:15, Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, He knew that True Christians? like me in the future, would be called into virtual worlds where we”d be witnessing to gnomes, trolls, night elves and all sorts of other creatures.

I followed some stupid gnome around for 8-hours until he finally told me that he would accept Jesus as his Personal Savior if I would just promise not to contact him anymore. Now that rocks!”

“I really like our guild leader,” says young Billy Houston. “He has a strict policy against letting unsaved people join our group. I think he’’s from Alabama in real life. In fact, he won”t even party-up with anyone who isn”t a ???? Christian. He’’s a level 60 Priest, and gets a lot of respect. He can climb right up to the top of the dwarf statue by the gates of Stormwind City and start street preaching to the Dark Elves and they will listen to everything he says. He’’s done conversion duels on multiple servers where he challenges other players to duel with him. If he wins, they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. If he loses (which he never has) he will give them 6 pieces of silver.”

Young Billy explains that it is very simple to announce the message of God’’s love across the World of Warcraft game channels. “I have a hot-key macro that broadcasts, Jesus Loves You! Please Love Him Back or He Will Burn You in Hell! PM Me ???? if you want to learn more! across four channels. I do it right when I log in. I usually get PM”d (Private Messaged) by a few characters who I then add to my buddy list.

Christian gamers are also excited that they are able to live out their faith in the same way the early True Christians? did, before their religion was sissified by liberalism, science, and political correctness. “It is such a rush to kill other players who refuse to accept Jesus Christ as Lord,” says one gamer. “I feel like I can really practice my faith the way God intended it. It is like I”m ???? fighting alongside Christians of old, instead of the pansies and sissies from my Sunday school class.”

I follow them around the game, across snow-capped mountains, and blasted wastelands until they accept Christ or persecute me so much that I have to report them to the server administrators for making fun of my religion. I think I”ve been responsible for getting over thirty accounts suspended for bigotry directed at me because of my faith.”

Landover Baptist Pastors originally expressed ???? some concern over the game because it looked like it promoted occult activity. “I told Pastor Deacon Fred that every single time I find an item that looks like it has something to do with the occult, I hop on a griffin and head straight to Ironforge where I auction it off. Christian food gamers shouldn”t be carrying that stuff around. We don”t enter places that serve alcohol in the game either. It is just not a good testimony. All the money I make from selling occult items to unsaved gamers, I auction off on E-bay for real cash, which I then put into the offering plate at our church on the last Sunday of each month.”

One prospective missionary at the Landover Baptist Christian Academy says, “Most people who are mean, liberal, nasty, lonely, unsaved losers in real life choose to play the Horde (an evil race of characters in the World of Warcraft) and ???? people and guilds who are conservative, Republican and pretty much easier to win to wow gold Jesus Christ with are found in the Alliance. That’’s why the real True Christians? pick the Horde to play as characters and start their guilds in Horde territory because they like the challenge of sharing Christ’’s message in a perilous, lava-soaked, environment. Sometimes flower you have to pester people for weeks before they listen to you.

WoW Gold and Tricks

wow gold

I hope you find these World of Warcraft Tips helpful. They are not meant as a way to cheat, but wow gold rather as way to help you enjoy this fantastic game even more. These World of Warcraft Tips are meant to give you ways to save time as well as ways to avoid wasting time. As I find more World of Warcraft Tips I will add them to this page, so check back often. WoW Tip #1 Auto-Looting - To save wow gold yourself a lot of time, Auto-Loot everything after a kill by doing a Shift + Right Click on the fallen foe. WoW Tip #2 Multi-Questing – Do not do quests one at a time. Get as many quests as you can find before heading out. As soon as you enter a new map region, the first thing you should do is head on over to the main town and get all the wow gold quest’s you can by speaking to all the NPC's you find. Once you get the quests, head on out and start exploring and questing. If a quest seems like a big waste of time, requiring you run around from person to person for an hour or so, then abandon the quest and work on another one, it just isn’t worth you wasting all of that time. WoW Tip #3 Solo Quests vs. Group Quests – In the World of Warcraft, there are times when it may become necessary to join a group in order to complete a quest. While joining a group will speed up your power game enormously, make sure wow gold you do it only when it’s to your advantage. In WoW, about ¾ of quests are solo quests with the remaining ¼ being group quests. Solo - If you intend to solo the group quests, it is important that you wait until your character is a few levels higher and the quest becomes green, otherwise it will be a big waste of time. Groups - Groups work well! But they must be efficient groups. Beware of joining badly organized groups, they will slow you down! A badly formed group is one that continuously dies while trying to complete a quest or it’s a group that jerks around, not getting anything accomplished. You would be far better off going solo than joining this kind of group. If you are strong at mele and have a quick way to heal yourself such as a Paladin or a Shaman, then you may be far better off going solo. For those of you who are warrior types that are strong at mele, but can't heal worth a darn, and those of you who are priests and mages who have little armor function. You are better off working in groups. WoW Tip #4 WoW Level-Grinding - A great way (albeit a boring way) to quickly gain experience and grind out a level is by killing stuff that is a few levels below you (green). Like I said, it’s boring, but it pays! By killing wow gold weaker creatures, you minimize the amount of damage you take, you kill them quickly, and you have quick recovery due to low or no damage taken. The experience gained from quick, numerous kills adds up faster over time than the higher experienced gained from killing more powerful creatures, because higher level creatures cause much more damage to you, which means a great deal more down time for you. Whenever you find yourself struggling with a quest, do some level grinding and get your levels up, then finish the quest. Let me reiterate! Do not take on a quest that is 3 or more levels higher than you unless you are doing it with a competent group. Why spend hours and hours of valuable time trying to do the near impossible when you could have spent those hours level grinding and gaining valuable levels for your character who would then be powerful enough to finish the quest much more easily. This is how to power your way to WoW upper levels. WoW Tip #5 Weapon DPS – Too often players will mistakenly wow gold put DPS (damage per second) on their weapons as it’s primary factor. This is wrong and here’s why! Abilities such as % to critical and damage bonuses are calculated based upon the damage of the weapon or the weapon’s speed. DPS is just an average and a character’s ability is never used in the computing.

NBA Rockets stretch winning streak to 17 games
Mar 08, 2008 | 3:37AM

DALLAS, Texas (AFP) — wow gold scored 31 points to lead Houston over the depleted Dallas Mavericks on Thursday as the Rockets stretched their National Basketball Association winning streak to 17 games.

The Rockets beat the cheap wow gold 113-98 to become just the sixth team in league history to post 17 straight victories.

Rafer Alston added a season-high 24 points for the Rockets, wow the Mavericks had to make do without suspended star Dirk Nowitzki.

Nowitzki, the buy wow gold NBA Most Valuable Player, had been banned one game by the NBA for a hard foul he committed during Monday's 116-110 loss to the Utah Jazz, a foul that left Utah's Andrei Kirilenko with a sprained hip.

The Rockets improved to 5-0 google?? their own post presence, Chinese center Yao Ming, who had NBA season-ending surgery on Monday to repair a stress fracture in his left foot.

Rockets Center Yao out for season
Feb 27, 2008 | 7:05AM

Houston Rockets general manger wow gold let out a long, exasperated sigh over the telephone Tuesday, as though to say: Are you kidding? Asking Yao Ming to ease back on his Chinese basketball commitments – never mind sit out the Beijing Olympics in August – is a request that’ll go unasked to his franchise star.

Yao’s body takes a terrible toll at 7-foot-6, something needs to change and still the Rockets are at the mercy of a Chinese basketball federation that never truly let the NBA have the most popular and beloved of its 1.3 billion people. He’s forever on loan, forever on the way to getting his career run into the ground.

“Asking him to not play for China is like, well, asking him not to power leveling play basketball,” Morey said. “We understood that when we drafted him and it’s still the case. We know that he belongs to the fans of the NBA and those of China. It isn’t a consideration to discourage him.”

Yao has gone down again. This time, it’s a stress fracture in his left foot. The threshold of chronic injury to his legs and feet creeps closer. There’s a disturbing, depressing pattern. He has broken his foot twice in the past two years. He’s broken a leg. He’s had an infected toe. Four surgeries in two years and the truth is increasingly inescapable: With the way he moves, with 7 feet, 6 inches of unprecedented polish and power, Yao has asked his lower body to support a style, a frame, that no basketball player his size has ever maintained.

What complicates everything is the demands, the pressure, the loyalty that Yao wow power leveling has to his national team. NBA commissioner David Stern had to undergo years of glacial negotiations to crack the Chinese market, to get Yao and Milwaukee’s Yi Jianlian into the league. Yao is such an earnest and loyal son, honorable and decent to the core.

“The national team is a part logo design of who he is,” his old coach, Jeff Van Gundy, said.

Yao has trouble saying no to anyone, Van Gundy said – never mind the government that manipulated his development from birth to the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft. Van Gundy calls Yao the hardest-working and best teammate in the NBA. He loved coaching him, loves counting him as a friend. And truth be told, he’s desperately worried about Yao’s future.

As it turned out, Van Gundy walked into a Houston health club Tuesday afternoon and still hadn’t heard the news about Yao’s injury. He was on the telephone with a Miami radio station when someone finally informed him. Just then, guess who walked through the doors?
