Rookies
Aug 21, 2007 | 6:10AM
The NBA just got a new shipment of player; the Draft Class of 2007. There are so many rookies waiting for the beginning of the '07 - '08 season so that they can get a chance to show us all what they can do in the NBA. Kevin Durant is one guy who can do no wrong for the Supersonics. Even when he has a bad shooting percentage day, he always happens to get double-digit points in. That's why he's all that people talk about. Most people don't even remember the 3rd draft pick's name, Al Horford, his picture is on my grabatar. So much time is spent talking about Kevin Durant and how he's going to be rookie of the year that all of the other rookies are forgotten. People don't seem to want to make noise about Greg Oden, who was the number one pick in the draft, and little to nothing is said about the number 4 pick, Mike Conley Jr., the rookie who I personally think will be the Rookie Of the Year. Also, with all the talking that Joakim Noah, the 9th pick, does, he still can't get into the spotlight. All that I'm trying to say is, I wish that people would take their eyes off of Kevin Durant for a moment to see that around him are a lot of other wonderful players; Daequan Cook, Brandon Wright, Spencer Hawes, Acie Law, Jeff Green, Aaron Brooks, Al Thorton, and Rodney Stuckey. So do me a favor, if you happen to be one of those who are staring at Kevin Durant, look at all the other players and see what's going on.
