fisrt blog Jul 21, 2006 \| 8:03PM Well this is my first blog. My heart is so full of joy,but full of saddness as well. My son graduated high school yesturday, I'm so proud. I feel like this is the end of his childhood an beginning of his life(as i know it is). He will be going into the world to find his independnce, his way down the road and I can only pray to God to watch over him and protect him. I pray he makes the right choices. He has joined the marines and will be leaving soon. I know that God will watch over him nd what will be will be. He believes very strongly in what he has chosen for his life ahead, and why not we raised him to be a strong willed moral young man. I love him so much and dont know what I will do when he leaves. Well so much for this wine fest. I will blog again soon and hopefully be in a better frame of mind.Connie

Connie first welcome to Grab! I know you are proud of your son and I am proud and I don't even know him! I will pray for him that the Lord will protect him! Going into the Marines huh? WOW!!! that is a tough job...but I feel that he has a strong Momma then he must also be a strong man!!

I wondered why I hadn't seen you around for awhile. Now I know you have been very busy with your son. Thank God you have the courage and faith to be able to withstand the loss of your son from your home at this young age. I feel God will protect him while he is away because of his courage and need to be there to fight for his country and all of us. Just remember what the old saying is, "I will go away, but I shall return". Believe and it shall be done. Love you. Betty.

Connie, I hope your have a wonderful August and Sept until you hear from your son again. We will continue to pray for his safe return home at the end of his journey. We hope his tour will soon be over and he will safely return home to start a new and different life than before. Love, Betty
