Well we made it back and in one piece. They say it is the happiest place on earth but I think that they need to put a disclaimer notice as well our first day at the parks was rough. We had some issues with attitude from all members in our party due to being extremely tired from all the walking and waiting. We had not figured out the fast pass that day.
The second day went smoother other than we got totally rained out. It poured. We bought rain jackets and mustered on. We enjoy less lines and people though so that was a plus. We enjoyed a few rides and called it an early day.
The third day we had the hang of it. We enjoyed alot of rides and the monorail and Downtown Disney. Plus the girls got to see their characters. Naomi saw Tigger and Bekkah Tinkerbell at the parade. She was not as mobile as wished but it made her day.
We played some games and even won. That was fun. I won larger stuffed animal and the lady said i could get two so that both the girls could have a toy. That was real cool. Mom won a large one and it is now residing in her car window.
We ate at the parks twice. Yikes its a bit pricy but than most of the stuff there was. It was decent eat at the pizza port it is busy but really worth the money you will have to dish out. Plus you tummy will be full for awhile. All that walking makes you hungry. If price isnt a concern try downtown Disney. They had the House of Blues anda Mexican restuarant that was pretty good as well.
We rode most of the rides we wanted and Bekkah a couple she didnt want too. She ende3d up wanting to go again once we had proded her into the seats. (The Mattahorn and Splash Mountain.) A few we decided we better not for fear plus I was so swollen (ankles and feet) that we were concerned it may have had something to do with my blood pressure. Plus the rides had signs posted about such things. So the Twilight zone was out and we didnt do any of the huge new roller coasters. They looked wild and people seemed to be enjoying them.
It was a good time all around. We will remember it a long time to be sure.
I will say they have smoking sections for those that smoke. Three in Disneyland and five in California Adventure. If you are a major smoker chew gum and know that you may have to back track to find the nearest one.
