Blod Idea: Holiday to be rid of and why
Apr 25, 2006 | 7:38AM
Holiday that I would be rid of would be SuperBowl Sunday lol. Yes some people consider it a holiday. I dont and cant stand all the testostarone that floats around during that time. People get stupid and sometimes violent. If I had to pick an actual holiday to get rid of maybe all the Presidents Days that my kids get off of school for. :)

Awaiting Baby Norrod
Apr 19, 2006 | 7:48AM

Well I think that Candi may have finally gone into labor. She hasnt contacted me in almost 24hours. She was not feeling so well the last I had heard. She is so tired of being pregnant and totally miserable. I can understand that my second pregnancy was not picnic.

I hope to get a call or something today saying that she had the baby. I told her I thought the baby would come on the 13th or 18th of this month. Yesterday was the eighteenth so who knows. How freaky would that be maybe I am becoming like my Granny on the baby telling front. Instead of the sex like she couls tell maybe I can give the date it will be born. Too bad it isnt a talent that I could delve into and make some cash from. LOL>

Oh well I will be patient and wait for a call or something.

Looks or Brains?
Apr 18, 2006 | 12:48PM

It's the age old question: which is more important, to look good or to be smart? Some people seem to have it easy because of the way they look (you know who you are!) but some people get by just fine on their natural smarts and brainpower. Which one are you? Which one would you like to be? Why? Discuss!

When you're done, go play a quick round of Brain Buster to improve your smarts - just in case!

I think that looks can get someone far in this day and age. I find it unfornate though. It would be nice if everyone was a beautiful people but that is not the case. I understand the laws of attraction and the laws that they seem to be able to break. I would rather be smart street wise as well as book instead of looks anyday.

Winnie The Pooh Gets Star
Apr 12, 2006 | 8:49AM

How cute my favorite childhood character gets his due. He now officially has a star on Hollywood Blvd. He is known as a Disney attraction but is truly his own created way before Disney had an idea for his theme parks. He was created in the 20's from the mind of  A.A Milne. Hes an old bear with plenty of pep in his step and I am sure that he will be adored for many years to come.

Look Into My Crystal Ball
Apr 11, 2006 | 7:03AM

What one question would you like the answer to if you could peer into the future?

So many questions come to mind. I think I would like to know if I would become a burden to those around me in this life as I age. I want to know that I will be able to care for myself and if not to make provisions for it so that those I love are not left witha huge struggle.

Disneyland Experience
Apr 09, 2006 | 7:17PM

Well we made it back and in one piece. They say it is the happiest place on earth but I think that they need to put a disclaimer notice as well our first day at the parks was rough.  We had some issues with attitude from all members in our party due to being extremely tired from all the walking and waiting. We had not figured out the fast pass that day.

The second day went smoother other than we got totally rained out. It poured. We bought rain jackets and mustered on. We enjoy less lines and people though so that was a plus. We enjoyed a few rides and called it an early day.

The third day we had the hang of it. We enjoyed alot of rides and the monorail and Downtown Disney. Plus the girls got to see their characters. Naomi saw Tigger and Bekkah Tinkerbell at the parade. She was not as mobile as wished but it made her day.

We played some games and even won. That was fun. I won larger stuffed animal and the lady said i could get two so that both the girls could have a toy. That was real cool.  Mom won a large one and it is now residing in her car window.

We ate at the parks twice. Yikes its a bit pricy but than most of the stuff there was. It was decent eat at the pizza port it is busy but really worth the money you will have to dish out. Plus you tummy will be full for awhile. All that walking makes you hungry. If price isnt a concern try downtown Disney. They had the House of Blues anda Mexican restuarant that was pretty good as well.

We rode most of the rides we wanted and Bekkah a couple she didnt want too. She ende3d up wanting to go again once we had proded her into the seats. (The Mattahorn and Splash Mountain.) A few we decided we better not for fear plus I was so swollen (ankles and feet) that we were concerned it may have had something to do with my blood pressure. Plus the rides had signs posted about such things. So the Twilight zone was out and we didnt do any of the huge new roller coasters. They looked wild and people seemed to be enjoying them.

It was a good time all around. We will remember it a long time to be sure.

I will say they have smoking sections for those that smoke. Three in Disneyland and five in California Adventure. If you are a major smoker chew gum and know that you may have to back track to find the nearest one.

You married......
Mar 30, 2006 | 1:41PM

Some say that you are destined to marry the man of your dreams. Some say they end up married to their fathers. I hope that is not the case.

See my family one that has tons of woman in it make poor choices when it comes to men. Most of them from my aunt to quite a few of my cousins have been married twice or better. They couldnt find a good man if he struck them upside the head with Hey I the nice guy one. Oh well. I have myself been married almost thirteen years. It has been good and bad but that is the lot most marriages are dealt. If they were not they wouldnt be real now would they.

I hope that I am not destined to follow in my familys footsteps. They have married all the bad lot that you can think of. I dont think a murderer that has been proved but I know that was suspected. We've had all the diffrent kinds of abusers some that hid it well and others that didnt. We have had the typical jerks, and ev en one that was gay but wanted children. We have had tons of the unfaithful but that was on both sides to give proper credit or blame.

I know that marriage isnt supposed to be so bad. I know that it can be a beautiful thing. You have to make it pass all the bumps in the road and hope that nbody get seriously injured. Heres to hoping that for myself as well as any of you guys and gals that are married out there.

Nose Job?
Mar 30, 2006 | 8:46AM

If you could change one thing about the way you look what would it be?

My weight definately. I have thought about gastric bypass a time or two but seem to chicken out when it comes down to it. Plus it seems I should be able to do this on my own.

Paranoid
Mar 28, 2006 | 1:07PM
Sometimes I feel just this paranoid. I know that just because certain things happened in my life they dont have to happen to my two girls. It seems the older they get though the more it creeps in. It has begun to make things in my marriage hard. It is silly I am sure but I still cant shake it. Wish there was a pill that would allow me to be calm but still aware. It sometimes takes so much out of me that I dont know where to trun. Oh well thank goodness for blogging.

Well a little about me. I am a writer of sorts from poetry to a few short stories. I would love to self publish a book at some time. I think that would be a good way to accomplish a dream of mine. I would also love to gather a bunch of poets together and self publish a book. This takes time of course and money. Oh well.
