I haven't blogged in a while.  Most of my blogs here start out that way, but I am just checking in.  Things are good.  What's everyone up to? 

So, it's been a while since I have been bloggin. Well, not really so long, but ya know what I am sayin', right? Just agree with me and save us both some awkward glances. I am EXTREMELY happy! Several reasons. Wanna hear 'em, here they go..

1. It's September! I LOVE LOVE LOVE September. Not just because it's my birthday, but I just really love September, even though some crazy ass [censored] always pops off around my birthday. I love fall and I have already started decorating my hotel for fall (wishful thinking).

2. Victor is home. Can I just say it is about effin time? I have thoroughly enjoyed this past week with him. I get very irritated when we don't get to spend time together, I'm a greedy bitch aren't I? I am really loving this next week as our birthdays are both next week. (Can two Virgos really make it?) Do you love it?

3. I have enjoyed being manager at the hotel this week. I hated the fact I had no sleep and had to cover a call in, but I made a management decision to do a consumer research project on the comfot of our rooms (read: I slept like a bitch from 8 am to 1 pm. It was nice. I must say our beds are quite comfortable.) Yeah, I was tired and didn't want to leave my new desk clerk totally alone, so I took a room out of service and gave her instructions to call me if she needed anything, the best part, I only got one phone call when my bosses arrived to check on things. AWESOME!)

4. Funny names. I hate the fact that this made me laugh, but evidentily there is someone out there named Velveeta. I swear I am not making this up, and if you, Ms Velveeta Jenkins, are reading this, I do apologize, but this has just made my week. I was sending out the hotels travel agents commission and saw a name -Velveea Jenkins. I could do nothing but laugh( to myself of course )NOT!

5. My birthday week. I celebrate my birthday for a whole week. The past several years it has just worked out that way and it stuck and has become a tradition (for me and my neice Bree) My birthday week kicks off tomorrow Friday, can't wait. Big plans! I am getting pampered tomorrow after I get off of work and then get to spend the night with Victor CELEBRATING! Sat I am going dancing with Victor and some friends, Sunday I am having a cookout for my b day. Monday I am going to my fave restaurant. the rest of the week with different friends and family, Fridy will be spent seriously partying and probably Saturday too, then Sunday I am taking Victor out for his birthday.

There are many more things I am loving for example my friends here and just life in general, but I am gonna cut my list short to keep you from being any more bored than you already are. Good night! Loves ya. Mean it!

Seriously, what's on your mind?  I've got a million things going on in my mind right now.  Getting ready for a week of birthday celebrations coming up soon.  Can't wait.  Ok, I am off to take me a Benadryl to make me so drowsy I have no choice but to fall asleep and lie ont eh couch and channel surf.   I EXPECT comments.  Lot's of comments.  Night!

Ok, has anyone heard of this?  Phroggin'.  People hop from pad to pad (get it kinda like a frog on a lilly pad?)  People break into homes and live in them for  a while without being detected.  I could not stop watching these last night.  I am only going to post one,   You can go to YouTube and search for phroggin and find the rest, the you will get a link to lulu to see the rest.  I don't know if this is for real or staged, but it made for some interesting watching.

Ok, Live blog (god forbid any internet snaffus) Tuesday at 9 pm.  To catch us up to date (without revealing any spoilers):

 

Jessica is the HoH.  She has nominated Dick and Danielle.  I really applaud her because she was staright up and told them exactly why she nominated them and even gave them the chance to fight for HoH.  That's the kind of game I like to see. 

My personal opinions:

Eric annoys the i don't know what out of me.  I feel sorry for him because he is pretty screwed being America's Player, but he just grates my last nerve.  I was really frustrated (stolen from Danielle) when he went all apecrazy when Jessica won Hoh.  He got cocky and I feel he wasn't that way before she won HoH.  He is relying on others to get him in the game.  I may be acrazy girl, but he just irritates me.  I still like Jen.  She gets on everyones nerves and I love it.   Jess is awesome especially this week.  I loved the whole Dick/Jameeka fiasco.  I loved how he called her out.  I love when people claim to be something and they act the complete opposite.  I know Christians aren't perfect, but to be on national television professing to be a Christian and preying to GOd and cursing people out and saying Yo MAMA, is hardly the work of a devout Christian (in my opinion).  Oh well it makes for great televison.

Ok, I am hiring for an opening at my hotel.  I have run an ad in the paper and had people come in to fill out applications.  Below is the first in a long line of How NOT to get hired.

I've been dabbling in Spanish.  It's fun.  I am horrible but I try to speak as much as possible.  I have friends that work for me that speak Spanish and I have been picking it up from them.  I've been listening to Spanish music almost non stop and have been watching Telemundo and just absorbing as much as possible.  My favorite word in Spanish is quizas  (key sahs) I just like the way it sounds.  It sounds almost dirty LOL!  It means perhaps.  Do you love it? quizas!  Mwah!
