I think my fav holiday would have to have been when i took my granddaughter on holiday to benidrom the week before xmas, to see her face light up when we were at the beach, out at the clubs etc at nite, just everything totally different that she was used to back home.

we found this club called poncho's that had a clown as the dj and he amused the kids for at least 3-4 hrs a night great stuff my hats of to these people who care enough to do this sort of things.

Is It Only Wednesday?

I'm waiting for the week end
This week has been so long
Is it really only Wednesday?
This calendar must be wrong!

My back feels like it's Friday
My feet are killing me
This week's gone on forever
I'm so tired I cannot see!

I'm dreaming that this Saturday
A big nap I shall take
No work I'll do of any kind
The bed I will not make!

No time clock will I have to punch
No shoes that feel too tight
I'll just relax and lie around
And my  boss can fly a kite!

On my knees I ask you Lord
To listen to this prayer
People asking for your help
Lord, they're out there everywhere.

The troubles that beset them
Are often times too much
Their burden is so heavy
Please Lord, they need your touch.

So I ask for you to send them
Courage for each day
Strength enough to see them through
For each of them I pray.

Hypochondria

What in the world is that you ask..
I shall endeavor to explain
Tis someone who thinks they're always sick
Everyday they find a new pain!

Now all of us...to some degree
Suffer with this disease
But some of us are worse than others
So it's them we often tease!

I have a friend, I shall not name
Who often feels quite ill,
Off to the doctor he will race
To get a different pill!

The rest of us, his friends I mean
Are sometimes kind of bad
We laugh behind his back you see
When really, it is so sad!

So a lesson now we had to learn
And we learned it the hard way,
We found out something shocking
Our poor friend.....died yesterday!

I guess he had the last laugh
His mind was pretty quick
For on his tomb was written...
"I told you I was sick!"

I think the worst chore of all has to be CLEANING THE TIOLET i hate it but it has to be done. i dont mind cleaning tiles,around taps, the floor even i just hate cleaning the tiolet bowl itself

Mama's Kitchen

Mama's kitchen wasn't fancy
Just simple and homespun
She would cook up many things
And always make it fun.

A kitchen filled with laughter
Luscious smells would fill the air
A cookie jar I could reach
If I stood upon a chair.

Chicken fried a golden color
With gravy thick and brown
Strawberry shortcake for dessert
Now who could turn that down!

Lesson's learned at her knee
Will always stay with me
In her kitchen she taught best
