Spied this on someone else's blog when I randomly clicked links in the "recently updated" section, and thought this quiz was too cute to pass up!
1. WAS YOUR FIRST PREGNANCY PLANNED? Nope
2. WERE YOU MARRIED AT THE TIME? Of conception? No. Of birth? Yes.

4. WAS ABORTION AN OPTION FOR YOU? Only for a fleeting second
5. HOW OLD WERE YOU? 26
6. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT YOU WERE PREGNANT? My period had always been late, so missing it wasn't anything that fazed me-- it was the fatigue that caught me by surprise. I went to the student health clinic to find out what was going on, suspecting either pregnancy or anemia.
7. WHO DID YOU TELL FIRST? Allan, then my parents.
8. DID YOU WANT TO FIND OUT THE SEX? Yes, and we did.

17. WAS IT A SURPRISE OR DID YOU KNOW? I knew.

19. WHERE DID YOU GIVE BIRTH? Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital
20. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR? I never really know how to answer this question, because I don't really know what most people would consider the "start" of labor. So, I'll put it this way: I lost my mucus plug at 7am on Wednesday, May 19. Started having contractions then but they were small and spaced out about 15-20 minutes. It didn't start getting frequent (i.e. 5 minutes apart) until about 10pm that day. We drove to the hospital, got set up and settled down for a loooong night. Todd was born at 12:30pm the next day, May 20.
21. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL? Allan
22. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? Allan (and of course the hospital staff). I was adamant about not having any of this videotaped, but in hindsight, I'm truly regretting that decision. I can always keep the tape put away if I never feel like watching it, but now I kinda wish I could see what it was like from everyone else's point of view, in the room.
23. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION? Natural
24. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? Had two shots of Fentanyl in the middle of the night (my nurse affectionately called me her "little junkie"), and once the doctor had manually broken my water, it was too late to administer an epidural-- I did get a spinal, though.
27. HOW MUCH DID YOUR CHILD WEIGH?? 7 lbs, 3 oz
28. DID YOUR CHILD HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS? Nope, he screamed his lungs out the moment he was born. Hasn't stopped since, hmmm.... ;-P
29. WHAT DID YOU NAME HIM/HER? Todd Allan
30. HOW OLD IS YOUR FIRST BORN? 2 years and 10 months today.
