Seasons - Plural or Singular Mar 27, 2006 \| 9:05PM If possible would you live year round in your favorite season? If I could have true fall weather( 60's), I'd live in it forever. However, in SouthTexas where I live we have a very short winter season, maybe a few actual days lol....then the rest is summer! Yep, seems like we have summer year 'round I was running my a/c in January and still am. It gets so friggin' hot in the actual summer months, that when you put on makeup, you have to have your a/c in your car running for about 10 minutes first. Then you have to make a mad dash to your car and in that short time, you have black streaks coming down your cheecks from your mascara running. Your foundation is now very uneven since half of it already melted down the sides of your face . If your hair was a little fluffy and bouncy looking, it now is also wet from sweat in just that short distance to your car lol. I know you're probably thinking why don't I move? Well all of my family except my one son lives here and my new husband (since June) was so glad to get away from the cold weather in Belgium( Europe) so I'm outnumbered lol. Now all I have to worry about is because of all the warm weather, the Gulf of Mexico did not really get cold, so that means more hurricanes and stronger ones at that :-(

Long Distance Online Love Can Work :-) Mar 10, 2006 \| 4:22PM I wanted to write this for all the people that have had their hopes up of meeting someone online, far away, and then having someone else tell them it won't work. I just got married to a wonderful man this past June who came all the way from Belgium to marry me. We met online 3 years ago this past December on a singles site. We emailed each other everyday and then started calling each other once a week. He then decided to come down here on his vacation 2 yrs ago. After he left we both were so sad and decided to get married. Even though it's only been since June 2005 that we got married, I am happier than I've ever been except for when I had my children who are now all grown. Both of our families and friends kept telling us to find someone closer, but you can't walk away from true love and you can and will find a way to be together. It took about a year for all the paper work to go through, but it sure was worth it Both of my sons also met their wives online. I guess it's the way of the future to meet your soulmate

I'm a 49yr. old newlywed grandmother of two. I'm not new to marriage (this is the third time) but I am newly married LOL. The thing I find most exciting is to take my canoe down smaller creeks and go bass fishing. I haven't been since I've been married but going to go soon. My husband has never been fishing in his life so I'm anxious to see how he likes it. I like just about anything outdoors where I can see a lot of nature and not people hehehe..I don't like crowds and will do anything to avoid them . I used to raise boa constrictors and pythons but after one of my pythons turned on me, I decided to get rid of them all. I sure am glad she was only a year old and all I had to do was go to the emergency room and get snake teeth removed from my wrist and fingers after prying her mouth open and pulling her off. My biggest python was the tamest even though she could have easily crushed someone with her 15ft body weighing in at 250 pounds lol. I'm just happy with my dogs now as far as pets
