Times have changed at Grabland Apr 28, 2009 \| 10:24PM Funny how one spends so much time at grab. You meet people, play in tournaments, and earn those fantastic grabbles. At one point I wanted to be on top. I wanted to be the person with the most grabbles in grabland. I soon realized(over a 6 month period, lol) that I wasn't going to catch the person on top. I suppose I didn't spend enough time at grab. Was I playing the wrong games? Was I on the wrong level of Gold Miner Vegas?lol. Alas, I only hit #4. My dream of being number one was crushed. So what do I do? Screw them all!!! I instead plan on giving away all of my grabbles!! Why u ask? Why not? Who cares who has the most grabbles. Who wants to remember people here at grab for having the most grabbles? I would rather remember those that are generous, caring, and thoughtful. These are the people we all meet everyday in tournaments. So why not give back? I may not be able to give a hug to someone 1000 miles away, but I may just brighten their day with a simple gesture of their favorite game to get through the day. Just my thought for the day. You dont know me, but I have seen you in tourneys here and there. I just want to say, what you said and how you feel does mean more than just being on the top. My thoughts are... if a rich person who doesn't spend there money because they are to tight... you cant take it with you, so why not enjoy life while you are living, and maybe help brighten someone else's day too, weather it is with money or just the kindness of your heart. :)

I am sending you a tag I made for the Urban Cowboy party we had Sat. at Shrinky's. Club! I too feel the way you do about tourney's but this time I just invited the club members because of some of the combative folks we have on here and the special one who is in the club, I just deleted her name. It's also the end of an era and just wanted to hang with all those special folks!! You are doing a great thing in here and I hope it encourages some people to be a little more kind and understanding of other people's feelings! A lot of hurt has been going around lately and I just feel like I'm walking on egg shells most of the time!! lol I am an old hippie, that says it all!! lol

I guess I was on my enforced "sabatical" from grab when you wrote this blog. Although I couldn't possibly agree with you more, I am reluctant to host open tourneys because of the grief it has caused in the past, so I'll continue to host for my friends with some exceptions.

You don't need to strive to be #1 on grab - you already are!!!

Hello just came by to say THANK YOU.
I happened to look @ tourney board & saw you had one going on free of charge! Do not see many of those in games I like to play. I usually never get very high scores but do have fun. When I found you there was 1hr & 35 mins. left.
I said what the heck. I played to games my last one! WOW highest score I have ever gotten on this game!! EVER.... Thank You Again very much.
AND I DO agree. I like to earn them so I can spend them on others.
