my second Granson has joined us he was born 4th october at 1.55pm. He weighed 8lb 4oz he was 50.5cm long even though mum (amiee) had a hard time 32 hours of labor and then an emergence cesearan she is such a trooper there was a lot of laughs a few tears and a couple of threats about no more babies (which im sure she will soon forget) I am so proud of both of them my son(Ben) has taken to being a dad so well in there changing nappies feeding and what ever else is needed and hae didn't leave Amiee side through it all. James Paul is just beautiful and looks so much like his dad that its almost uncanny. Anyway as you can tell i am a very proud grandma.

 my first grandson was born today January 11 he weighed 7.14p, 51cm long and is the most beautiful baby i have seen i a long time not that im bias or anything. His name is Ethan Jon, Jon being after his dad and great grandad Both mother and baby are doing very well.

i have video of his dad giving him his first bottle, bath and dressing him for the first time. As i watch this today it bought a lump to my throat and tears to my eyes as i watched my Son step into the role of parent so comfortably. the excitement and joy i feel today can not be explained but its the most amazing feeling i have ever felt for at least the last 27 years.

i now understand all the tears and joy we go throw as parents.

I also want to acknowledge his grab great grandma chique she has been a great friend and will be a wonderful great grandma to this wonderful little boy.

i so wanted to share my good news with my grab family, i will try and post some pics soon.

  My friends in case you are wondering where i am or why i am not answering your challenges it because i have finally got a job yeah!!! 

I will be away from home and the internet ( not sure how i can cope with that) as well as my family here on grab ( that will be even harder) for the next week as i need to go away for training. So please be patient with me i will try and catch up when i get back but with starting the job not sure how long that will take lol.

Please pray for me during the next week or if you don't pray send a good thought out there i will need them as it is a week of intensive training and the old brain matter is not used to being challenged.

I am really pleased to finally have a job and i am going to give it my best shot.

Thank you guys for all your support over this time and its been great to share with you all.

Firstly my daughter(Rachel) has just got engaged

She is getting married on the 2 of June next year, she is marrying a lovely guy(Travis). They have known each other for 12 months and he just fits into the family so well. He was very old fashioned about how he asked her to marry him as he had rung her father a week before to ask if it was alright i think that was so lovely. Rachel and Travis are so excited they have almost everything planned all ready, they have the reception booked, she has her dress and her bridesmaids dresses pickand the dress maker booked. A photographer has been booked. The only thing he asked of her about the wedding is that he wanted a tradtional wedding, which fits in so well with all those dreams my daughter had as she was growing up.  At a dinner party the other night he asked me if he could be my favourite son-in-law, which i happly granted as i only have one daughter. lol

 Second big annoucement is I'm going to be a Grandma.

My oldest son(justin) and his partner(sharon) are going to have my very first grandchild in december. My goodness you could have knocked me down with a feather. I'm so excited, thrilled and over the moon. Justin has changed for the best over night it is amazing to see what a difference this has made to a normally very serious young man(26) he can not stop grinning and has deceided its time to take care of himself with things like flu shots and prevative medication for his asthma. responsibilty sit well with him lol He tells me its going to be a boy and is going to play football(scoccor) and take care of its dad but seriously he will be thrilled with whatever they have. His partner has a 5 yr old daughter(nickita) so i guess that makes me a grandma twice in the same year lol. Nic is so thrilled and was telling me all about how she is going to be a big sister, then very sheepishly told me that Justin was going to be her dad and that now she was part of a family aawww my heart just melted. apperantly Nic asked Justin if he could be her dad too.Justin and Sharon have been together for 2 years and he was just saying to me the other night he wishes that it had happened earlier (nic asking) so she wouldn't remember anything else.

Well my friends thats my good news for the month thank you for stopping by and reading the rantings of a very happy lady. i had best stop now i think i could go on about both of these events for pages. lol i hope you all have a great day and im looking forward to catching up with all of you.

You open up you in box and there are lots of challenges you work through your favorite games (hopefully winning a few lol) then your left with those one, come on you all know what i mean, the dumb games or some game you know you will never win at. there are also some you just can't stand. what do you do? being that friends have sent them to you do you bite the bullet and play them any way after all they have taken the time to play the game and thought of you when they sent it or do you just decided to say no way im not doing that and delete.

This is a delemar that i'm sure you have all faced at some time so lets be honest i would love to hear what everybody does.

For my friends i have finally worked out how to use my scanner lol and have posted some pictures of me and the family as well as some funny or interesting ones they should be approved soon so now you can see what i really look like (that could be scary i'm expecting a lot of you to dissappear of my friends list lol)

well first of all i want to tell all my friends how much i have missed our chats. its been quite a few months and im looking forward to catching up with all of you again. You will all have to fill me in on what been happening in your lives and on grab while i've been away. thank you to all of you who have continued to sign my guest book and message me. the message page on here blew me away i have 49 pages of messages to go through so be patiaent with me. chalenges are welcome but i think i will start a fresh other wise i will never catch up.
