Worst thing EVER
Oct 13, 2005 | 2:10AM

Ok, so if you haven't noticed, I'm not much of a blogger, but today I ran across a link that I just had to write a post about.

Now, I like to try and overcome my fears (I was even talked into bungie jumping at my bachelor party weekend, but that's another story). I'm not really afraid of bugs, in fact, I think they are kinda neat. Although, I squish the Black Widows I find around the yard for safety reasons.

But, the one bug I can't stand, the bane of my existence, is the cockroach (ugh...shudder). I think I have traced the root of my fear, why I always freeze up for a split second when I see any reasonable sized roach, to a childhood memory involving a science museum display of a typical household kitchen, covered wall to wall with roaches! I mean they were just glued on EVERY AVAILABLE INCH! I don't know what they were trying to demonstrate, but if the experiment involved traumatizing little kids, then that's some powerfully effective science.

So, today, I stumble across this link on my favorite hot deals board.

WORST THING EVER.

I suppose I should buy one and sleep with it next to my pillow. That could either cure my fear, or cause me to die from exhaustion.

Deuce, if you're lookin for more of your twisted halloween fun...

LOL, now i know your weakness...

How do you feel about water bugs? They look like roaches, but they are 3 times as large, and when you squish them, puss explodes everywhere...

The worst is when its still twitching, and you have to clean it, and its puss up off the floor...

I'm ok with water bugs. I used to try and throw rocks at them, but they are fast little buggers so they always slide away.

I think it's neat how they can stand on the surface of the water.
