the moon
Jan 12, 2007 | 8:21PM
The moon
One night as I looked out the window,
I saw the moon outside.
As always, it was hidden by dark clouds. But, I saw something special tonight.
The moon's glistening light lit the path
before my house, an extraordinary light.
As, I looked at the moon, I saw a face.
It smiled back at me and I returned the smile.
The smile was full of joy and happiness.
Then, I realised that it was a baby.
I knew that I had seen her before somewhere,
but I could not remember.
I slipped on my coat and went outside. As I sat down on the bench, I realised who she was. The baby who had often visited me in my dreams.
But, when I looked back at her, she was gone.
A figment of my imagination, I thought...but then I heard a cry...a soft cry and as I rushed back onto my house...I found a baby on the doorstep.
As I picked the baby up and held it against my cheek, I looked at the moon once more, realising that my wish had come true.

Inspiration...
Jan 09, 2007 | 5:54PM
You know when you watch movies like say A Cinderella Story or like Titanic or the World Trade Center or one of those real life movies, (not a cinderella story) you feel like you want to get out there and do something right? I mean those movies with so much tragedy and true love...don't they make you think about your self? Like for example; I wish I could be one of those fire fighters or police officers who saved people and died for the country or one of those people who changed one another's life by just being there. Personally, when I saw those movies it made me wonder about who I am and what kind of a difference I could make to the world. Like there are so many people with so many talents but yet they don't recognize them or like they don't have enough money to attend those good colleges and stuff. Today, I just wanted to talk about inspiration. When u watch a movie, u get inspiration right? Same with books and people correct? But what would happen if u took that inspiration and created something out of it? Let me make myself more clearer...suppose you were good at something and only after you talked to this one person did u realise that u were so good at it...

Quizzes, tests, exams, projects, homework...
Jan 09, 2007 | 5:45PM
What is it with these teachers? I mean right after a project is over they assign u another one and then it keeps on going! Like, they think that we have nothing to do at home! How unfair is that? I mean I really don't mind quizzes and tests because they help you learn but what about the big ELA's and Math state tests...I mean it gets me sooo nervous just thinking about it! It takes like half a year for the scores to even come out and everyone makes such a big deal over it because those are the tests that decide what high school you're going to...I mean...the amount of homework that each teacher gives is like...unbelievable...thank god I had like no homework today...I really WISH THAT we didn't have those state tests...they're sooo hard! I really want to pass with a 4 on both of them. God bless you all!

When nothing goes your way, what do you do?
Jan 04, 2007 | 7:20PM
Well, that's a toughie. I like to think of the other possibilities and where along the line I messed up and how I can fix that.Let me explain...I usually don't give up. I like to think until I find out a possibility, one that actually works, Then, I would think back to where I messed up. Who or what got me messed up? And again, what can I do it fix it. Well, if none of these work out, then I actually cry and cry until I can't anymore and then I pray to God for an answer and eventually an answer pops up. That's what has been happening lately, but I think that it's alright now. I pretty much plan out everything, like what I'm gonna do next umm, that would be called a scedule...this is ridiculous...DON'T READ THIS...WELL TOO LATE! LOL.

Friendship
Jan 04, 2007 | 7:13PM
Friendship: hmm where do I start? What is the true meaning of friendship? Is it helping out one another or is it copying ure friends homework because you were too lazy to do it? Friendship has been confused in many relationships such as the friendship between a boy and a girl. I read this book a long time ago about this guy who was this girl's best friend and well, he liked her and he told her that and she was shocked. She never had seen him like that and she told him that she never could. But the guy couldn't take his mind off of her, so she finally stopped being friends with him. In the end of the book however, she feels bad about it and as always, she told him that she really liked him a lot but she didn't know that until he told her that he liked her.
Well that was one relationship that was mistaken at first correct? But I think that these are the coolest friendships ever. I mean in the end the guy obvoiusly marry's the girl and they're both best friends/husband and wife. So they can practically read each other's mind and they can talk about the 'old times'.
My second point was that some friendships (I'm not saying all!) are mistaken. I have this friend who never does her homework. I mean she does do most of them but she always leaves one of them out...like science. So she goes, "Hey, do you have the science homework? I didn't do it, so can I get it?" and then I can't tell her no because I don't want her to get a missing homework or something so I give it to her. I told her several times that she should really do it by herself...but helloo, I feel like I'm talking to a wall here! Anyways, some famous person said that "Friends are like pillers. Sometimes they hold you up and sometimes they lean on you." Anyways, I just wanted to say this....g'night everyone...I know that this sounded like an essay n' all lol. I hope u liked the bottom picture n' poem...

My love come true...
Jan 04, 2007 | 6:39PM
Ok well I'm sure that everyone has some sort of a picture or an outline of their life partner or in my case, a crush. Well, it's sort of wierd but here is mine: He has to be intelligent and tall but not too tall. He can't be the boastful type, but he has to be playful. He's gotta be sorta funny and he can't be too wild and u know what I mean about being wild right? He has to be serious but not too serious...I mean a little bit of everything, I guess I wouldn't mind if he said that other girls were "hot" or something. I truly do not believe that u can actually posses a guy or anyone...I mean that's like ure pet or something right? He has to be a guy who doesn't make me do stuff that I don't want to do, but he cannot be too possesive, because you know, that can get a bit scary...anyways I think it's kind of hard to find someone like this but I'm sure my "soul mate" is out there somewhere...

What is your favorite thing to do, this time of the year?
Dec 26, 2006 | 10:18AM
Well, that's writer's block! Let's see now, it's winter but yet no snow so far and it hasn't snowed on christmas and the weather isn't THAT bad. Just a bit chilly outside. Well, I just mostly read romance novels or switched on the television or like I am doing right now, blogging. My favorite thing is probably writing.I like writing stories and I want to publish them one day and become a great author but my FAVORITE thing to do is read. Like I said earlier, romance novels. It's marvelous how authors can create 2 characters out of thin air and they seem to be so realistic, like you actually know them. Reasonly I read the book Avalon High by Meg Cabot and Bass ackwards and Belly up by .... Well, Avalon high is about a girl who's new to this school in Maryland and she's from Minnesota and her parents are proffesors. Well, while she's jogging in the woods she see's this guy called Will who is I think the captain of the football team at Avalon High and well, he smiles at her. The story later goes on to how Will thinks that he has seen Elaine (the main character) before and he falls in love with her. Meg Cabot continues to say that the whole story is a reincarnation from the time of Kind Arthur and that Will is King Arthur and that his step-brother is Morzan the killer and Elaine is the lady of Shalott. I truly enjoyed this book for a number of different reasons. It has fantasy in it and it has romance which are two main reasons why I would not just read this book but any book. Ok, now Bass ackwards and Belly up (that's one book, jsut so u guys don't get confused!) Well, the book is about 4 girl friends who are all supposed to go to college but because one girl named Harper Waddle decides to follow her so called "dream" the other 2 gives up college and does the same. Harper Waddle applied to NYU but didn't get accepted. She was afraid to tell her parents or her friends so she tells them that she refused to go to NYU and that instead she wants to become a writer, Kate Foster who got accepted into Harvard agrees with her and she gives up Harvard and chooses to follow her dream. Sophie Bushell who was supposed to stay in town and go to college to become an actress flies to L.A and she auditions for parts in commericals, movies etc. Then the last, Becca chooses not to listen to Harper because her dream is to go to College and become a proffesional skier and so she boards the flight the very next day. The book is very boring in the beginning but starts to get interesting towards the middle as all four girls fall in love. The book continues to talk about how all four girls must stick together and that no matter where they are they must keep in touch to solve each other's problems. I loved this book, hope u like it as much as I do!

Time flies
Dec 26, 2006 | 9:58AM
I truly cannot believe how fast the year is going. I mean seriously, one minute I was in my homeroom waiting for the teacher to read names for attendance on the first day of school and now it's like winter holidays and christmas has came and gone and we didn't even celebrate it as good as we did last year, it was like any other day. What is happening? Then, it's gonna be New year and it's gonna be 2007 (Big Wup!) and then exams and tests and quizzes all over again. Is it just me or is time really going that fast? Somebody plz explain?

Four songs I can listen to anytime
Aug 05, 2006 | 10:29AM
Here are four songs I can listen to anytime:
1. We live by Superchick 2. Am to Pm by Christina Millan 3. She's no you by Jesse McCartney 4. My heart will go on by Celine Don
I always listen to these songs, not bcuz I think they're cool but bcuz when I have nothing else to do I just turn up the radio and they give me something to do, or like even when I'm sad or when I have a certain problem or something I usually listen to We live cuz it reminds me of how valuable my life is and that I shouldn't waste it by doing nothing.
The song Am to Pm I usually listen to when I am can't sleep at night. Not that when I listen to it, it makes me go to sleep, it makes me a bit hyper and very excited and stuff.
The song She's no you, I listen to when I'm like thinking of someone that I like as a crush or when I'm thinking of somebody who I've never met but seen in my dreams.
My Heart will go on is my favorite song, it makes me think of life, love, friendship and everything else that is involved with life and I listen to it all the time and I still haven't gotten bored of it.
These are the 4 songs that I pretty much listen to all the time and sometimes when I'm bored, lolz.

Friendly Qualities
Jul 19, 2006 | 10:10AM
Would you rather have a friend who is funny or loyal?
Hmm, that's a hard question. A friend who is funny would be really cool to hang out with and when ure not exactly feeling well, they would be able to cheer you up. Sometimes though, (I'm not sure) they might make fun of the wrong things and you might end up feeling really upset.
A friend who is loyal would be always at ure side and they would stand up for you when u're in trouble. You can always tell ure friend about ure feelings about a certain person wheather it's ure family or even ure friend itself. Suppose you have family issues and you can't tell anyone about it. Then why not tell ure close friend? Atleast he or she will be able to help you out.
A friend who is funny would be joking like I said b4 and they wouldn't take things seriously. If u wanted to tell them personal stuff, they would listen at first and then I guess they would start to even make fun of you and that would really hurt ure feelings. (Unless ofcourse, they know were the line between 'funny' and reality is and know when they cross it.)
Comparing to my friends, I think that I would rather have a loyal friend.

Dreamless!!!
Jul 08, 2006 | 12:53PM
I waz reading these books, (It would have been pretty cool if they were just regular books with mystery/fiction/horror or something like that, but these books were romance novels) and ever since then I can't even dream...sounds wierd right? Usually, when I dream, I remember most of the dreams but ever since I started reading those L.O.V.E novels, I can't remember a single dream not only that, I'm beginning to wonder if I actually do get any dreams...not much of a blog, I know but I thought that I should just blog anyway...lol

Noah's Ark
Jul 03, 2006 | 7:44PM
Ok...Someone already posted about the Noah's ark...which inspired me to write more info on that...ever since my science teacher told me all about the search to find Noah's Ark..I've been totally interested on the Ark.
"According to t he Bible account in the book of Genesis, Noah's Ark came to rest over 4300 years ago on the mountains of Ararat." But, my science teacher said that, (no need to quote bcuz these aren't her exact words) the researchers even though researched around Mount Ararat they never got to go to the top of the mountain and look for proof for the exixtence of Noah's Ark. Bcuz if they found proof of the ark or even the ark itself..that would destroy religous beliefs of many people (who weren't christians) and also it would be a proof to christians (and whoever believed in Jesus Christ and God) that the Noah's Ark was obviously real...they were still trying to get permission from the people who lived around there to do further research as far as my science teacher knows..but that was a couple of months ago...
-Mount Ararat
I went on a site called:http://www.christiananswers.net/q-eden/gopherwood.html
Gopher is a hebrew word from Genesis 6:14, God told Noah to make his ark out of Gopher wood. They said that if gopher was a certain tree or a plant then it probably wouldn't be existing today. Also, since we don't know where Noah lived, the flood could have affected the entire Earth and it could easily be 'widely populated in the 2000 years b/w the creation and the flood' And, since they couldn't find the correct defination of gopher whether it was a plant or a tree they assumed that it was possible that gopfer refered to a certain type of process or a method to create the ark.
-GOPHER WOOD...
Another q uestion was "Where did the water come from?" Some of the answers were:
1) Was the fountains of the deep
2)Windows of heaven: on Genesis7:12 it said that it rained for 40 days and 40 nights.
3)The waters above: "We are told in Genesis 1:6-8 that on the second day of creation God divided the waters that were on the earth from the waters that He placed above the earth when He made a "firmament" (Hebrew: raqiya, meaning "expanse") between those waters.[5] Many have concluded that this "expanse" was the atmosphere, because God placed the birds in the expanse, suggesting that the expanse includes the atmosphere where the birds fly. This would put these waters above the atmosphere." (quoted straight from the site)
4)Water vapor canopy...
Another question was "Are dinosaur fossils evidence for the great Flood?" They said that thousands of dinosaur bones were found and they were washed up by horrible floods which must have lead to the explanation of the great flood.
"Many sightings of the Ark were reported on Mt.Ararat in Turkey and ever since the research was going on for the past two decades, it was given international attention and many expeditions by American Christian groups have led to numerous claims but no proof" Which obivously meant that the ark had not been found yet and was still proof to the other religons that the ark even existed.
Actually, one group claimed to have found the Noah's Ark using satillite pics of the mountain. Go to: news.nationalgeographic.com/.../ 05/noahark.html
So I have a question...Since I'm a Christian believer and since I do believe that Noah's Ark exisited I was wondering that...since the ark came to rest on Mt.Ararat for the past 4300 years, would it still be there? What if..it fell off the mountain or something? What if the mountain had a volcanic eruption earlier that somehow cause the ark to burn up or you know..what if it got destroyed by the weathering erosions? what do you think?
Comments/answers anyone?
