There's Something About Our God...
Sep 16, 2009 | 7:01PM

Dear Readers (particularly Bassman42),

There is something about our God that makes him God. Actually, there's a lot of things, too many to list in this entry.  This entry is mainly about his omni-existence, if you will. To warm up, keep in mind that he has always existed. When there was nothing, there was Him.  Think that we were created, and before that our parents were created, and before that, man. Before that, earth, before that, night and day, and, yes, before that still there was void. And in that void was the God who made everything leading up to you. It's really crazy to think about how nobody made Him. And to tell you the truth, i think he's pretty qualified for His job. With the 8,000 years to manage before you existed, he's got his fair share of practice. Not that he needs it anyway. I think this attribute is either missed or reduntant.  He has always existed, and that ties in with his other three main attributes: omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience.  Now that your head is spinning, it won't hurt to throw on one more mind- boggling, incomprehensible, unsolvable mystery of God. He will always exist. He is a never- ending and never-starting continuum of love.  We get to experience eternity, to get to spend forever with our Creator and Master. Buckle up.

May you all be sensitive to God in your life and pursue Him to the extent of which He pursues us!

For His glory,
ninjake

The Past, Present, and Future
Sep 09, 2009 | 4:25PM
Hey! This post is about the crazy, mind boggling concept God created called "time". Yes, time. I'm not talking the "half-past 12" time, I'm talking the concept. The past is crazy, and many of us have good memories and bad memories. These events we can neither change, nor should we worry about. It's all a part of God's delicate and intricate plan for each of our lives. The present is here for a few moments, but then, as soon as it arrived, it has departed. Kinda like tomorrow, but that's another story. The future is pretty crazy, just to think about. Though God's got it in control, sometimes it's hard not to worry about it. It's not an easy task to not worry about the big algebra test tomorrow, or the talent show on Tuesday. God is so awesome that he knew our future (well, technically, he designed it) before we were even born. Think about that. We don't even know what's going to happen next week, tomorrow, or even in an hour or two, but God knew that we would have a 96 on our History exam in 3 years 7 months and 23 days. Crazy. In short, we don't know what the future holds, but we know WHO holds the future!

May you all be sensitive to God in your life and pursue Him to the extent of which He pursues us!

For His glory,
ninjake

I'm a Christian excited about spreading God's name throughout the world and love debating theories, especially when presented with new ones. I am an extremely academic person who won't settle for less than utilizing the gifts the Lord has given me as fully and powerfully as I can.
