Two blog posts ago, you'll notice that I tried for a job and "didn't get it"... Well I'm now proud to announce that----------I'm an elementary teacher AGAIN!!!! =)  I was blessed to be able to work at the secondary level for two years.  It was not a mistake that I was placed there.  I know that now. :)  Anyway, I will be teaching 3rd grade within the same district.

With the baby coming, I really wasn't sure what God was doing... I placed the whole job/insurance thing in His hands. It was NOT easy.  I received peace about the situation, no matter which way it turned out.  I did worry about insurance and the like... but again I knew that God had control.  He's the one that decided this baby was going to come towards the beginning of a school year, and He's the one that knew this baby would be provided for no matter what.

It's another boy =)

I found out today that I didn't get the elementary job I interviewed for.   This is the second interview this summer in which I have placed, well,  second. 

I'm trying to stay strong.  I'm trying to understand.  It's difficult, but I'm clinging to the verse--

"For I know the plans I have for you, thus says the Lord."  Thank goodness someone does!

Today's the day I head back to school.  Students don't come until next Tuesday, construction permitting of course

I'm not!   I used to love going back to school, after a long, relaxing summer break.  Long and relaxing is gone.  An effort is now underway to return the school start date closer to the end of August.  In my home state of Kentucky, school starts within the next two weeks.  I report back Tuesday, August 1.  Wow!  So, summer consists of June and July only?!?!  What happened to August?  They keep pushing the date back further and further into the summer.  How far can it go?  Some schools have tried having school yearround.  The problem is that the rest of the world does not fit into this mold.  Visit http://www.savekentuckysummers.com/ to learn more.

I, for one, would like my summer back.   My birthday falls in late August.  My first day of college was on my birthday.  Before that, school ALWAYS started after it.  Since that first day of college, it's been downhill from there.  It keeps creeping, creeping, creeping...
