CLEANING POEM
Aug 13, 2009 | 12:10PM
I asked the Lord to tell me why my house is such a mess,
He asked if I`d been "computering", and I had to answer yes.
He told me to get off my fanny and tidy up the house,
And so I started cleaning up..the smudges off my mouse.
I wiped and shined the top side, that really did the trick.
I was just admiring my good work, I didn`t mean to click
But click I did, and OOPS!- I found a real absorbing site
That I got SO way into it, I was into it all night
Nothing`s changed except my mouse, it`s very, very shiny
I guess my house will stay a mess...while I sit here on my hiney.

I LOVE MY COMPUTER FRIENDS BECAUSE MY FRIENDS LIVE IN IT.
LORD BLESS MY ONLINE FRIENDS....AMEN

Mother Goose tells the truth about Middle Age
Jun 10, 2009 | 4:06PM
Jack and Jill jogged up the hill
their breath came faster and faster,
Before the top they made a stop
narrowly averting a myocardial disaster.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Jack tried to be nimble, he tried to be quick
He shot hoops with young guys and ruptured a disk.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh where, oh where has my estrogen gone, Oh where, oh where
can it be? I was once young and fair, now I sprout facial
hair. Oh hormones please come back to me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Poor miss 50 was not feeling nifty eating her low-fat Swiss
cheese. When she was 20 she used to eat plenty and never
gained weight around her knees.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Middle ages Mervyn went to surgeon to affix to his scalp
some new hair. But when he awoke he looked like a joke and
wished that he`d left his head bare.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
I wrinkle I crinkle, I no longer twinkle, how did this come
so soon? Just yesterday I was thirty one, I`m fifty four next
June.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Life is short break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly
love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything.

THE LAST DAY
Jun 06, 2009 | 5:20PM
1. God wont ask you what kind of car you drove. He will ask how many people you drove who didn`t have transportation.

2. God wont ask the square footage of your home, he will ask how many people you welcomed into it.

3. God won`t ask about the clothes you had in your closet, he will ask how many you helped to clothe.

4. God won`t ask what your highest salary was, he will ask if you compromised your character to obtain it.

5. God won`t ask what your job title was, he will ask if you reinforced your job to the best of your ability.

6. God won`t ask how many friends you had, he will ask how many people to whom you were a friend.

7. God won`t ask in what neighborhood you lived, he will ask how you treated your neighbors.

8. God won`t ask the color of your skin, he will ask the content of your character.

9. God won`t ask why it took you so long to seek salvation, he will lovingly take you in his arms and take you to your mansion in heaven.

Be thankful for the friends you meet along lifes way, and be sure to bless those who are less fortunate than you.

LIFE IN THE 1500`s
Jun 06, 2009 | 5:05PM
The next time you are washing your hands and complain about the water temperature, think how things used to be;

Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May and still smelled pretty good. However, they were starting to smell, so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odor.
Hence the custom today of carrying a bouquet of flowers down the aisle.

Houses had thatched roofs, thick straw piled high with no wood for support. It was the only place the small animals could keep warm, so cats and other small pets slept in the roof. When it rained it became slippery and sometimes the animals would slip off the roof.
Hence the saying, raining cats and dogs.

LESSON OF LIFE
May 31, 2009 | 6:26PM
Two friends were walking through the desert..during some point of the journey they had an argument and the one friend slapped the other in the face.
The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying a word he wrote it in the sand....TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.
They kept walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning he wrote on a stone...TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE.
The friend who had slapped and saved him inquired "After I slapped you, you wrote in the sand, and after I saved you, you wrote on a stone.WHY?"
The friend replied, "When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But when someone does something good for us we must engrave it in stone where no wind can erase it.

Learn to write your hurts in the sand and carve your benefits in stone.
They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but an entire lifetime to forget them.

FRIENDS
May 27, 2009 | 6:44PM
Friends are companions
through good times and bad.
Friends are buddies
through happy and sad.
Beside them you stand
beside them you walk.
You`re there to listen
You`re there to talk.
With happiness and smiles
With pain and tears.
Friends will always be there
throughout the years.

LET'S SEE WHO READS THEIR EMAIL
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A Hug Certificate for You!
This poem is very sweet. It will be interesting to see who sends it back
Send this on and back.
Thanks!

If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you
and share with you its beauty
On the days you're feeling blue.
[]
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own;
A place to find serenity,
A place to be alone.
[]
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea,
But all these things I'm finding
are impossible for me.
I can not build a mountain
Or catch a rainbow fair,
But let me be what I know best,
A friend who's always there.
This is a Hug Certificate!!
[]
Send One to All Your Friends Who You Think Deserve A Hug
(Which Hopefully Includes the Person Who Sent It to You).
[]
You might send it to your enemies as well!

If you receive this back 2 times . You're off to a good start,
unless you sent it to yourself. That's cheating!

It`s In The Valleys I Grow
Jan 12, 2009 | 5:19PM

Sometimes life seems hard to bear,

Full of sorrow, trouble and woe

It`s then I have to remember

That it`s in the valleys I grow.

If I always stayed on the mountain top

And never experienced pain,

I would never appreciate Gods love

And would be living in vain.

I have so much to learn

And my growth is very slow,

Sometimes I need the mountain tops

But it`s in the valleys I grow.

I do not always understand

Why things happen as they do,

But I am always sure of one thing,

My Lord will see me through.

My little valleys are nothing

When I picture Christ on the cross,

He went through the valley of death;

His victory was Satan`s loss.

Forgive me Lord, for complaining

When I`m feeling so very low.

Just give me a gentle reminder

That it`s in the valleys I grow.

Continue to strengthen me,

Lord And use my life each day.

To share your love with others

And help them find their way.

Thank you for your valleys, Lord

For this one thing I know

The mountain tops are glorious

But it`s in the valleys I grow.

NEW YEARS DAY
Jan 02, 2009 | 6:10PM
THE CELEBRATION OF THE NEW YEAR IS THE OLDEST OF ALL THE HOLIDAYS. IT WAS FIRST OBSERVED IN ANCIENT BABYLON ABOUT 4000 YEARS AGO.THE BABYLONIANS CELEBRATED THE BEGINNING OF A NEW YEAR ON WHAT IS NOW MARCH 23, ALTHOUGH THEY HAD NO WRITTEN CALENDAR.
LATE MARCH IS A LOGICAL CHOICE FOR THE BEGINNING OF A NEW YEAR BECAUSE ITS THE TIME OF YEAR THAT SPRING BEGINS AND NEW CROPS ARE PLANTED.
ON THE OTHER HAND, JANUARY 1 HAS NO ASTRONOMICAL OR AGRICULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE.
THE BABYLONIAN ALSO CELEBRATED THE NEW YEAR FOR ELEVEN DAYS, WITH EACH DAY HAVING ITS PARTICULAR MODE.
I HOPE ALL MY GRAB FRIENDS HAVE A BLESSED YEAR NO MATTER WHEN YOU CELEBRATE IT , OR WHAT YOUR BELIEFS ARE.
