youve got to join WDIAV for freeroll poker tournaments

1. Rather than have one monthly tournament, we're going to have four weekly tournaments. We're going to have the 4 tournaments on every Tuesday of the month at 8PM EST at Full Tilt Poker (except on those months that have 5 Tuesdays, in which case the tournaments will be on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Tuesdays of the month).
2. The tournament is going to be a password entry tournament that we'll announce it in this thread well in advance of the tournament. Of course that means that we'll have some freeloaders gettiing in but they won't be getting any big payout as you'll see below. Since the first July tournament will be on July 1st, we'll post the password here:

3. The prize pool listed on Full Tilt Poker will be $25. That is the amount that ANY player, regardless if they're a forum member or not, can share in and that Full Tilt Poker pays automatically into player's account. The total remaining prize pool will be $175 that WE (passiveharry and myself), distribute to the first 18 places in the tournament but ONLY to forum members who register with us in advance AND redeem a mear 50 points to enter. But the benefit to the forum members doesn't end there....
4. The top 8 qualified (forum members who register with us and redeem 50 points) from each of the first 3 tournaments in the month are automatically registered by us to play in the final Tuesday of the month tournament with a $400 prize pool. The three $200 tournaments at the beginning of the month will have 24 players entered into the month-end tournament. Passiveharry, wdiacr and arnaldo8802 will be the other 3 players with bounties on their heads to total 27 players at 3 tables.
Any player who places in the top 8 for more than one of the first three tournaments can designate another player to play instead. To earn points, here's the list from our forum points program:
1. 100 forum posts=150 WDIAV points
2. Become a WDIAV Author and post a 3-500 word original content article=200 WDIAV Points PER ARTICLE. REGISTER AS AN AUTHOR HERE .
3. Add your avatar to your forum profile=100 WDIAV points
4. Mention Our Site & Link in your comments on another Blog, Site or Other Forums=25 points (No Duplicate points for Duplicate Listings on one site)
We plan on continuing this as long as we can generate interest among the forum players. Note also that the "refer-a-friend" points no longer are in effect because we had little sucess in getting the new players active in the forum.

Announcing the New and Improved WDIAV Tournaments
A brand new WDIAV Tournaments will be launched in a couple of days. The final details are being worked out now. We will launch the new schedule March 1st.
Now is the time for all good players to come to the aid of their site......
Here is your chance to make this grow even larger. We can only have larger prize pools if we grow our forum, our sites traffic, subscribers to our newsletter, authors for our articles section, bloggers, social bookmarkers, etc. Our tournaments and prizes are determined by how successful WDIAV is as a site.
Tournaments Info
We are really expanding our tournament line up and the way to earn money from being a part of WDIAV. We are going to a qualification format for our 2 Monthly Larger tournaments. Please read below for the exact layout of how our tournaments will be held.
You can only play in our freerolls by either earning your way in or being a WDIAV Player who has set up their account at FT through links or bonus codes on WDIAV.
Daily $5 Freeroll - To qualify you have to be a member of the forum and have a minimum of 15 VALID posts. If you posts are not valid, on topic or spam posts they will not count. Once you reach that level you automatically be granted access to the Daily Freeroll Thread where the tournament password is posted.
Daily $1+.25 (Double Points)- To qualify you have to be a member of the forum and have a minimum of 15 VALID posts. If you posts are not valid, on topic or spam posts they will not count. Once you reach that level you automatically be granted access to the Daily $5+50 Thread where the tournament password is posted.
Weekly $50 Freeroll - To qualify you have to be a member of the forum and have a minimum of 50 VALID posts. If you posts are not valid, on topic or spam posts they will not count. Once you reach that level you automatically be granted access to the Weekly Freeroll Thread where the tournament password is posted.
Weekly $5+.50 (Triple Points) - To qualify you have to be a member of the forum and have a minimum of 50 VALID posts. If you posts are not valid, on topic or spam posts they will not count. Once you reach that level you automatically be granted access to the Weekly Freeroll Thread where the tournament password is posted.
Monthly $500 Members Freeroll - To be registered into the tournament you have to reach ONE of the below qualifications. Once you qualify, post to the qualification thread. We will check it and you will be automatically PRE-REGISTERED for the Monthly Members Freeroll.
Monthly $500 Qualifiers Freeroll - The tournament will be limited to 50 players plus Bounties & Special Guests.To be registered into the tournament you must be in the top 50 in points during the month. Points are earned from playing in the daily and weekly tournaments and awarded like this: 1 - 27 10 - 18 19 - 9

Year End Tournaments
Members 2009 WSOP Package Freeroll - The first $1500 Event at the WSOP each year draws the largest number of entrants with the exception of the main event. We are sending one lucky member to Las Vegas to play in that tournament including airfare from any major US city and 2 nights hotel. The 9 Monthly Member Freeroll Winners will play for the same 2009 WSOP Package. Our monthly qualifying tournaments will run from March to November (the tournaments will start in April and end in December).
Qualifiers 2009 WSOP Package Freeroll - The 9 Monthly Qualifier Freeroll Winners will play for the same 2009 WSOP Package. Our monthly qualifying tournaments will run from March to November (the tournaments will start in April and end in December).
1. You can ONLY qualify if you are either a WDIAV Player, WDIAV Forum Member, WDIAV Author or have referred a depositing player to WDIAV through our Refer A Friend. This does not mean that you WILL qualify.
2. Any forum member with 100 valid posts in any calandar month will qualify for the monthly members tournament.
3. Any Rakeback Player or WDIAV Player who has set up their account at FT through our links or using our Bonus Codes will qualify for the monthly members tournament.
4. Any player making the final table in any daily or weekly event will automatically qualify.
5. You can always trade in your WDIAV points for the monthly freeroll entry via the normal redemption method.
Once you are qualifed as a WDIAV Player or the new Refer-A-Friend, you are qualified for the life of our tournaments. We will continue to send emails to all WDIAV players reminding them of the events asking them if they want to be pre-registered. Now for the bad part - we have to get people to turn our for our forum and for our tournaments. It is up to you, the forum members to spread the word. If we don't get people then we can't run our tournaments.
- Think OUTSIDE the box.
- Tell your boss about us.
- Make a flyer for your school's bulletin boards.
- Email everyone in your address book.
- Tell people when you are playing poker.
- Tell you neighbor.
- Tell the waitress at Denny's.
- Keep posting to your blogs.
- Pass out flyers at sports events.
- Think OUTSIDE the box.
Remember, it is all about WDIAV and our free money from WDIAV Points & Tournaments. Spread the word.
- Get them to set up an account using our WEDOITALL bonus code at FullTilt. Once they do so, they are qualified to play every month!
- Tell them how they can earn money as an author by writing about Las Vegas, Poker & Gambling.
- Tell them about our forum and the collection of loyal members we have. Get them to register.
Now for the GOOD part
Our goal is to raise our 2 Monthly tournaments to $2000 each and to make our year end tournament for a WSOP Main Event Package. We can't announce that as we don't have the budget for it. YOU CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN! Most of you have seen us grow from a lowly $100 Freeroll into the schedule we have now. It is because our SITE has grown. Obviously we make a profit from getting people to come to our site. HELP US HELP YOU! We are in this together.

Lost $3000.00 a Bad Nights Work.
On my most recent trip I was sitting in seat three at a $2, $4 limit poker table passing time until it was time to meet my wife for dinner. In seat 4 I met a guy whose wife is a local pro poker player on the Atlantic City circuit. His wife plays every night at different casinos playing the daily or special tournaments or can often be found playing the higher stakes $10, $20 no limit cash games. He told me that they started out together owning a small computer business and then sold that to pursue fulltime Video Poker machine playing. After a few years traveling the road in tournaments or playing machines at different casino locations they ended up in Atlantic City .He still plays Video Poker and piddles at low or limit holdem cash games while she pursues the life of a professional card player. He said that she can usually win a few thousand or lose a few thousand dollars on a given night and follows her playing strategy and win/ loss limits to maintain a financial base and maintain a normal lifestyle. It is this boundary that keeps them a float with a very volatile career choice. $10,000 winning nights can often be followed by the complete opposite result for days or weeks at a time. Bankroll management becomes more than just how much you can play or lose but whether your rent or car payments are made. He tells me that she is recently on a high note have a very successful year so far and has plans to elevate to higher levels and larger tournament buyins this year and that the positive outlook is always maintained because of their strong relationship and similar interests. We talked for a few more moments about on line play and Poker legislation and he excused himself, he had to leave for work I believe it’s a part time job. On the way out He kissed his wife on the cheek, talked with her for a second, about Poker no doubt and headed for the door. As I watched him leave I tried to imagine the lifestyle as more than just a Poker dream and was very relieved that I had to be back to work the following day.
