THANKSGIVING - A TIME TO GIVE THANKS
A TIME TO GIVE THANKS
O God, when I have food,
help me to remember the hungry;
When I have work,
help me to remember the jobless;
When I have a home,
help me to remember those who have no home at all;
When I am without pain,
help me to remember those who suffer,
And remembering,
help me to destroy my complacency;
bestir my compassion,
and be concerned enough to help;
By word and deed,
those who cry out for what we take for granted.
Amen.

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks it is true,
But everyday should be a day of thanksgiving too.
God gives us faith and protects our daily bread,
He always hears our prayers and listens to each word said.
God waits for our prayers not just on Thanksgiving Day,
His love and kindnesses are shown to us in every way.
On Thanksgiving Day, give thanks for every day and everyone,
Pray for others who need good health, food, love and fun.
Thank God for all blessings you have received,
Pray as often as you can and always believe.
