Hugs and Smiles
Sometimes when I? lonely
and feelin?really down and blue.
I get a little message
with a smile and hug from you.
It? really special
the hugs and smile at the end.
They let me know the message
is coming from a friend.
They make me warm and cuddly.
Like my blankie used to do.
They take away the chill
and a warmth spreads
through and through.
My smile spreads like butter
and it melts right off my face.
you? never know a frown
had been there in its place.
I want to reach through the computer,
and thank you with a kiss..
but that? just something
that you?e going to have to miss.
The wires couldn? handle it.
They couldn? take the heat
and what would happen
