Hooked on Facebook
Jun 22, 2009 | 11:28PM

I am totally hooked on Facebook!  I joined once before but left because my hubby's psycho ex-wife was e-stalking me.  But now I have rejoined without using my real name so I do not have to worry about her.

And I am having soooooo much fun.  I never played the games before and I am addicted to Farm Town and Yoville already.  If any of my Grabland friends are on Facebook look me up.  My Facebook name is.... shrinky dink   Are u surprised?  lol

Now you see me, now you don't.  Poof where did I go?  lol

Just wanted to let everyone know if you see me appear and then quickly disappear in any tourneys I am not avoiding anyone.  It is summer and my older 3 boys are home.  So I have been letting them play using my account, but I make them turn off chat.

hugs,

shrinky

Ummmm.... don't have anything important to say....
May 25, 2009 | 11:10PM

Ummmm.... don't have anything important to say just wanted to blog for the sake of blogging. lol Smiley

I actually can't think of any good topics. So help me out. Post your best blog topic idea and I will pick my favorite, write up a blog about it, & make a tourney in the winner's honor. Oh and your idea must be original not a grab blog idea of the day or taken from someone else's blog.

Have you ever put anyone on ignore? I just did yesterday for the first time and I actually felt guilty doing it, but did not know what else to do.

Club Shrinky Relocating
May 13, 2009 | 8:39AM

I have had so many g-mails from people asking me to please keep the club open. I really had no idea how much the club meant to some people.

The club will remain open.  However it will be relocating to the tourney message boards after the anniversary party on the 22nd & there will be a new thread for each day.   Once we move there will be no more announcement tourneys.  If you want to see what is going on at the club then stop by and check out that day's thread.

The club will no longer be operated solely by me.  There will be a group of club managers and staff that will work together to make fun events for ev1 to enjoy.

The new club managers are willow_spring, nettienetnet, wilbur6969, drgynsong, wolfie1, onethindime_99, & Steppen_Wolf.  PurplePassion59 will remain our birthday secretary and is in charge of the club birthday calendar.  crer74 will be our new official Club Shrinky birthday party planner & will make all club parties on her blog and host club shrinky exclusive b-day tourneys.  sophia_coco is the official club post counter and will keep track of post counts on any events where the number of posts determines the winner.

This is the new club schedule which will start on Sat May 23rd:

Monday- willow_spring's Shrinktacular Star of the Week
Tues- nettienetnet's Terriffic Tuesdays
Wed.- wilbur6969's Wacky Wednessdays
Thurs.- drgynsong & wolfie1's Tremendously Fun Thursdays
Fri.- onethindime's Fabulous Fridays
Sat.- shrinky's Sensational Saturdays
Sun.- Steppen_Wolf's Super Sundays

There may come a time when we need a substitute manager or one of the current managers may decide at some point to resign.  For these reasons I would like to have a list of members who would enjoy being on the club staff in the future.  If you are interested please let me know.

If you have any ideas or suggestions that might make this transition better please share them with me.

thanks & hugs,
shrinky

Club Shrinky is Going Out of Business
May 06, 2009 | 3:10PM

Club Shrinky is going out of business.  May 22nd is the club's One Year Anniversary & will be the last day the club is open for business.  It has been a good run and we have had some good times.  But the truth is I am ready to retire from my duties as club owner/operator.

I love everyone at the club dearly and hope that we will all stay friends.  I will see you guys around Grabland more often since I will have more time to play once I retire.  And I will still make fun threads from time to time on the tourney board.

If anyone would like to take over the club you certainly would have my blessing.  You could even rename it & I would gladly stay on as a member & sponsor some events.
