Club Shrinky Relocating

I have had so many g-mails from people asking me to please keep the club open. I really had no idea how much the club meant to some people.

The club will remain open.  However it will be relocating to the tourney message boards after the anniversary party on the 22nd & there will be a new thread for each day.   Once we move there will be no more announcement tourneys.  If you want to see what is going on at the club then stop by and check out that day's thread.

The club will no longer be operated solely by me.  There will be a group of club managers and staff that will work together to make fun events for ev1 to enjoy.

The new club managers are willow_spring, nettienetnet, wilbur6969, drgynsong, wolfie1, onethindime_99, & Steppen_Wolf.  PurplePassion59 will remain our birthday secretary and is in charge of the club birthday calendar.  crer74 will be our new official Club Shrinky birthday party planner & will make all club parties on her blog and host club shrinky exclusive b-day tourneys.  sophia_coco is the official club post counter and will keep track of post counts on any events where the number of posts determines the winner.

This is the new club schedule which will start on Sat May 23rd:

Monday- willow_spring's Shrinktacular Star of the Week
Tues- nettienetnet's Terriffic Tuesdays
Wed.- wilbur6969's Wacky Wednessdays
Thurs.- drgynsong & wolfie1's Tremendously Fun Thursdays
Fri.- onethindime's Fabulous Fridays
Sat.- shrinky's Sensational Saturdays
Sun.- Steppen_Wolf's Super Sundays

There may come a time when we need a substitute manager or one of the current managers may decide at some point to resign.  For these reasons I would like to have a list of members who would enjoy being on the club staff in the future.  If you are interested please let me know.

If you have any ideas or suggestions that might make this transition better please share them with me.

I am so glad that club shrinky is carrying on because I was starting to get really upset. I would be willing to help out when it is needed. I can help out if you need a stand in for a few days.

It will still be Club Shrinky. But everyday will be a different thread. On Friday for instance the thread title will be "Club Shrinky~ onethindime's Fabulous Friday"

It may take some getting used to, but I think it will be good.

Excellent news about the club staying open I was really sad and depressed about it closing!! It's the main reason I am here on grab :) I won't be here for the big bash on the 22nd :( Going on vacation (that part is awesome) but won't be back until late the 22nd or possibly the 23rd.

This goes to show everyone on grab that there are wonderful people who wish to carry on a wonderful thing:)
Shrinky, thanks so much for everything that you have done here.
I would love to manage a part of the club, ONLY if I had time. The way I work and my home is always very busy, it would just almost be impossible. But, if there is no one else to fill in for someone if needed, i would go beyond the call of duty to lend a hand if needed! :)
I hope this club will stick together and remain as FABULOUS as it is! :)

Great news!! (Sigh of relief) I was hoping something would pop up!! lol I would be glad to substitute if needed, you can count on me!! You know what chaos this place is with so many children and all the sports, but I can get it together quickly, you know that!! Thank goodness, I was afraid we would all be ships passing in the night!! lol

It is so nice to know the Club is staying open. I am a late commer and was just starting to make new friends.
Now that the club is staying open I can continue to keep meeting the other Club Shrinky members.

Yipppeeee.....so glad the club is "Staying Alive" lol....the club seems to reach out on a daily basis and whether you play the tourneys or not, it's great to get the invite and have the opportunity to meet new friends. Shrinky, you seem to have a ton of support, and I know the help is out there when you need it. If I can ever be of any help, just please let me know by just giving me a bzzzzzzz hahaha! Have fun everyone and party all summer long at Club Shrinky !!!!!!!
