How would you like to spend your elder years?

I'd like to spend it with my husband just relaxing, not having to worry about big or little things, maybe do some traveling.

What are you doing to celebrate Valentine's Day?

Got a breakfast burrito with hubby this morning (sort of a tradition with us) but other than that, not much today.  I ordered him a new hat, and he had me buy a nightgown I really liked.  We're probably going to go to a movie and dinner on Saturday. 

Has anything bad ever happened to you that turned out to be for the best?

That would have to be me finding out I was pregnant with my daughter.  I wasn't even 20 yet, and wasn't with her father at the time.  Now she's  4 1/2, her daddy and I are married and life is good.

What language, other than the one you speak now, would you like to be fluent in?

I'd love to be fluent in German.  One reason I would like that is I have a good deal of German in my background and it would be great to help my dad decipher some of the stuff that is on file in German for use in his research.

Too small?  Or big enough?  Do your feet hang off the edge?

Well, I share a queen size bed with my husband who is 6'4" and I am 6'0", so there are points where our bed feels too small.  We have talked about getting a California King bed once we are settled in a house, but that may be a bit. 

Feet have been known to hang off of the edge since I like using MANY pillows at night.  But it was worse when I was still living at home since I was suffering then with a twin sized bed.

The best gift I received this holiday season was... a diamond ring from my husband to replace my wedding band which had broken.

Have you ever been on a blind date?  No because the only person I have ever dated was my husband and we were friends back in high school.

Tonight is the start of 2006, and here's what I'm doing to celebrate...absolutely nothing.  Will be asleep when the clock hits 12.  Some of us still have to work tomorrow and be up early.

Most people think that I'm around 27 years old...

Even though I'm actually: 24

I think part of it comes from me being an only child and the other part comes from having my daughter who makes me feel older than I really am.  She also automatically causes other people to add a few years onto my age.

My favorite thing to order at a Chinese restaurant is... not something that is ordered.  My favorite thing at a Chinese restaurant is the fortune cookie at the end.  Actually got a fortune cookie a few days ago that had 7 fortunes in it.
