Brother and Sisters,

After much observation, I have concluded there are two root causes of all relationship problems. 

1. Men are not mindreaders

2. Women do not realize that men are not mindreaders

If your relationship is having problems, these are the causes.  If you are a man, all you need to do is ask your woman how she's feeling, and then actually listen.  She will think you are the most sensitive man she's ever met, and she'll be more willing to tell you how she feels in the future.  If this is not a desirable outcome, perhaps you should find another partner.

If you are a woman, you must realize that your man doesn't know what you are thinking.  Ever.  Why is this?  It is not because he's insensitive or because he just doesn't care about you -- it's because he's not a mindreader.  Once you realize this, forgive him for it, and tell him how you feel (without him having to ask), all will be well with the world.

Grab Tournaments!  They're almost ready for prime time.  In the next week or so you'll see them opened up for all Grab members, so let the games begin!

We held our first Tournament tonight, and it went pretty smoothly!  We chose our flagship web game, Gold Miner: Special Edition as our first Gold Member tourney game.  At t-minus 30 minutes, we had only 10 Grab staffers and 3 Gold Members entered, but by the time the tourney was ready to start, we had a full 25-person tourney, most of whom were not staff - pretty good for sending an email out 90 minutes before the tourney start!

So, I started playing and chatting with the Gold Members in the tourney...it was actually my best game of Gold Miner ever, which isn't saying a whole lot.  About five minutes into the tournament, a message appeared telling us "Tournament will start in five minutes."  Mental note: reset the system clock on the chat server.

I thought I had a pretty strong lead on the crowd when, 15 minutes to go, my score of 35,000 was holding.  But, taffy70 came along and soundly whooped us all with a whopping 82,831, and took home the 280 Grabble prize.  Well done taffy!

The first Grab.com Tourney

Brothers and Sisters,
