Wow, I can't believe that on August 24th I had my 1 year grab Birthday/anniversary! It doesn't seem like taht long ago that I was just joining grab and getting to know all of you guys.

Today I was just going on all of the websites that I havn't been on in a while, and i was like "OMG! I havn't been on grab in soo long!" so I decided to come on here. And then I realized that a few days ago was my grab birthday, and I decided to make a blog post about it. Because the last time I posted in a blog was,,well, a long time ago. lol.

I havn't been going on grab all that much lately, but I thought I'd just come on here and say hi to all of you guys because I havn't talked to all of you in so long.

Ok, you might have noticed that I havn't really been on grab that much anymore, lol. I have a lot of other stuff going on, and I havn't really been able to go on that much. So I guess I'm sort of quitting grab, but not like really quitting. I'm jsut not really going to be going on that much anymore. Wow, I can't believe that the play is over already...Yeah so for the last, like, 3 months or something we've been having 2-4 hour play practices almost every single day..And we just had the play (Katastrophe Kate) Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon (today). It's kind of sad that it's over now, though. It was really fun (except for the fact that I had to paint my face white and dress up like a mime).

The play was about some chefs in New York and one of them made chili, and they had to go to Texas to sell it. But then when they got there there was someone who already made chili..so they had a contest to see who's chili was better. It was kind of a dumb play, but it was really fun. And then at the end we danced to 'Footloose', a Christina Agulara song, 'Another One Bites the Dust', and something else. And then at the end we gave Mrs. McGowan (the play director)  flowers and a huge card that we all signed and some gift cards and she was crying and she couldn't talk. lol.

And on next Friday night we're going to have a cast party and everyone in the play is going to come. lol.

Colleen came to all of our practices, and she sat in the front row last night. but then some of the people in the play messed up when they saw her so she didn't sit there today. XD grl..

Yeah so that's pretty much all I've been doing this week and this weekend was going to play practice and doing the play. And I'm really tired now...^.^

Hey everyone, I haven’t been on here in a few days! Since I’ve been gone, a few things have happened, but not much. Everything’s pretty much the same as it always was... Err, Yesterday I got to leave school at 11:00, and at 11:30 I got braces. They didn’t hurt when I got them on, but sense about 7:00 or 8:00 last night, they hurt like hell now.. I got pink and black, and I only got them on the top. I’m getting them on the bottom in about 6 months. Yippee.  I'm going to take some pictures of me with my braces and I'll put them on my profile soon.

Ok, so my older sister, Colleen (Coco_Star) went to the doctor this morning, because she's been sick for a while. And the little doctor people found out that she has Mono. Deh. So she’s been sleeping the whole day today. But she's not going to have to go back to school for at least a week.It might almost be worth it to get mono.. Almost. lol.

Err, yeah. I think that's it. lol. Ok, hopefully someone will read this one because no one read the other post (or maybe they just didn't reply to it..)<--awesome smiley, hehe.

Today is Saturday!! w00t!! Tori, my freind, is coming over today and tomorrow we are going somewhere...I can't remember where.

Yesterday was St. Patricks Day. We had to wear green and while to school. It was kind of funny because everyone was all green and then Caitlin was black and Kenny was red..  At lunch we had Easter egg cookies (wtf?) with green sprinkles. I think they were from last Easter because they were wicked hard, the lunch people probably jsut put different colored sprinkles on them.

In science everyone was supposed to present their science project, and Caitlin and I weren't done with ours. We still need to put pictures on the triboard and we need to write down waht we are going ot say. So we jsut didn't go, and Mrs. Adams jsut said that anyone who didn't finish could bring it home this weekend nad do it. It was due yesterday, but that's ok. lol.

So then after school our grade had a little party thing.. I'm not really sure why.. So Erica and I played hacky sack.  Hah, that was fun. I can't play that game it's wicked hard. They had pizza there and I had three pieces..I would have had more but then it was all gone. I think they got like 17 boxes of it or something like that, because there were like 70 or 80 people there.

Last night was the Battle of the Bands, and I couldn't go.  I was wicked mad..Urgh..

Ok, and that's it. Yesterday was pretty boring other than that..I didn't do anything when I got home, I just had hot chocolate and went online. And that was my awesome day yesterday. lol. Thanks for reading it.

Hey everyone! Today is Friday the 13th! So I decided to post something in my blog about it.

Ever heard the word “paraskevidekatriaphobic?” Sounds made up doesn’t it? It probably is but it is the word now used to describe a “morbid, irrational fear of Friday the 13th.”

In this modern day and age, who would have thought that there would still be people swayed by ancient superstitions? It turns out reportedly more than 21 million Americans are.

Since today is Friday the 13th, I thought it would be a good time to research it so I did what all good, modern-day explorers do — I went to google.com. Some interesting facts arose — most notably that nobody really knows what gave rise to the actual Friday the 13th superstition.

It also appears to be a fairly recent phenomenon. No records of it as an unlucky Friday 13th event could be found prior to the 19th Century, although separately in ancient times Friday was considered unlucky as was the number 13.

More recent history has put them together, doubling the fear for those poor paraskevidekatriaphobics.

It’s no secret that the number 13 is considered unlucky, even in modern day United States. Some buildings don’t have 13th floors, apartments and some streets miss the number 13 in addresses, and the bookings for events such as weddings are significantly down on the 13th. Several events are given as evidence of its bad luck — the 13 disciples at the Last Supper, 13 letters in the names of such infamous murderers as Jack the Ripper and Charles Manson and this one that left me a little confused.

Early man could only count to 12 based on his 10 fingers and two feet, giving rise to a fear of any higher number. Now doesn’t this beg the question — did early man have no toes or was his eyesight so undeveloped that he couldn’t see any digits way down there?

Friday also had its own set of problems.

It was supposedly the day Eve tempted Adam in the Garden of Eden, the Great Flood reportedly started on a Friday and Christ was crucified on a Friday.

And it didn’t help to dispel the fear when, about 100 years ago, the British sent a ship named the HMS Friday, captained by a man named Jim Friday, set out on its maiden voyage on a Friday — never to be seen again.

The British Medical Journal did an abstract study back in 1993 to see if there was any truth to misfortune being elevated on that day and it concluded that despite fewer drivers on the roads on Friday the 13th, hospital admissions went up by as much as 52 percent if the Friday happened to be the 13th day of the month.

Is that proof that the day is indeed shrouded in mystical unlucky powers — or that even today we are still susceptible to good old psychosomatics?
