The Scientific Death of Jesus
Nov 02, 2009 | 8:20AM
By Georgy ------ 4629 views
At the age of 33, Jesus was condemned to death penalty.

That was then the “worst” death. Only the worst criminals could die like Jesus. And with Jesus things were worst, because not all the criminals condemned to death could receive nails on their hands and feet.

Of course, nails… Big nails! Each was 15 a 20 cm long, with a point of 6 cm. Another point was sharp.

The nails were craved into the pulses, and not into the palms, as we are used to hear. In the pulse, there’s a tendon which extends till the shoulder, and when the nails were being hammered, that tendon broke, obliging Jesus to reinforce all the muscles of his back, so that he could breath as He was loosing all the air from his lungs.

In this way, He was forced to support Himself onto the nail craved in his feet, which was bigger than those craved into his pulses, for both feet were craved together. And, as his feet could not endure for long time without tearing, Jesus was forced to alternate that “cycle” so that He could breath.

Jesus endured that reality over 3 hours. Yes, over 3 hours! Long time, isn’t it? Few minutes before He died, Jesus was not bleeding anymore. He was simply pouring water from his cuts and holes.

When we imagine Him injured, we only picture Him with injuries, but it is not enough; His wounds were true holes, made in his body.

He had no more blood to bleed, He only poured water. Human body is composed by near 3.5 litres of blood (for adult).

Jesus poured all 3.5 litres of his blood; He had three nails hammered into his members; a crown of thorns on his head and, beyond that, a Roman soldier who nailed a spear into his chest.

All these without mentioning the humiliation He passed after carrying his own cross for almost 2 kilometres, while the crowd spat on his face and throwed stones (the cross was almost 30 kg of weight, only for its higher part, where his hands were nailed).

Jesus had to pass all this experience, so that you can have free access to God. So that your sins could be “washed”. All of them, with no exception! Don’t ignore this situation. HE DIED FOR YOU!. For you, who now read this in this site. Do not believe that He only died for others (those who go to the church or for pastors, bishops, etc).

He died for you! It is easy to pass jokes or foolish photos by e-mail, but when it comes to God, sometimes you feel ashamed to forward to others because you are worried on what they may think about your moral.

Accept the reality, the truth that JESUS IS THE ONLY SALVATION FOR THE WORLD..

God has plans for you, show all your friends what He experienced to save you.. Now think on this! May God bless your life!

60 seconds with God…
During 60 seconds, leave whatsoever your doing and seize this opportunity! Let’s see if satan can stop this.
Yes, I love God. He is my source of life and my saviour. He keeps me alive day and night. Without Him, I am nothing, but with Him “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”. Philippians 4:13.
This is the simply proof. If you love God and your are not ashamed for all things He has done for you, send this to all those you love.

WHY JESUS IS BETTER
Dec 16, 2008 | 10:34AM

WHY JESUS IS BETTER THAN SANTA CLAUS Author Unknown
| Santa lives at the North Pole. |
JESUS is everywhere. |
| Santa rides in a sleigh. |
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water. |
| Santa comes but once a year. |
JESUS is an ever present help. |
| Santa fills your stockings with goodies. |
JESUS supplies all your needs. |
| Santa comes down your chimney uninvited. |
JESUS stands at your door and knocks, and then enters your heart. |
| You have to wait in line to see Santa. |
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name. |
| Santa lets you sit on his lap. |
JESUS lets you rest in His arms. |
| Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl,what's your name?". |
JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads. |
| Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly. |
JESUS has a heart full of love. |
| All Santa can offer is HO HO HO. |
JESUS offers health, help and hope. |
| While Santa says "You better not cry". |
JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you." |
| Santa's little helpers make toys. |
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions. |
| While Santa puts gifts under your tree. |
JESUS became our gift and died on the tree. |
Its obvious there is really no comparison.
We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.
We need to put Christ back in Christmas.
Jesus is still the reason for the season.
Yes, Jesus is better, He is even better than Santa Claus.
-Author Unknown
Twas the month before Christmas
When all through our land,
Not a Christian was praying
Nor taking a stand.
See the PC Police had taken away,
The reason for Christmas, why, no one could say.
The children were told by their schools not to sing,
About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.
It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say
December 25th is just a "Holiday".
Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit
Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!
CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-pod
Something was changing, and it is quite odd!
Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa
In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.
As Targets were hanging their trees upside down
At Lowe's the word Christmas - was no where to be found.
At K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears
You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.
Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty
Are words that were used to intimidate me.
Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen
On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton!
At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter
To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.
And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith
Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace
The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded
The reason for the season, stopped before it started.
So as you celebrate "Winter Break" under your "Dream Tree"
Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.
Choose your words carefully, choose what you say
Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS,
not Happy Holiday!

Naughty or Nice?
AFA's 2008 listing of top retailers and how they recognize Christmas
Based on current advertising, below is a list of companies that avoid, ban, or use the term "Christmas" in their advertising. We urge you to contact the "naughty" companies by using the contact information provided below. We will continually update the list, so check back often.
Criteria - AFA reviewed up to four areas to determine if a company was "Christmas-friendly" in their advertising: print media (newspaper inserts), broadcast media (radio/television), website and/or personal visits to the store. If a company's ad has references to items associated with Christmas (trees, wreaths, lights, etc.), it was considered as an attempt to reach "Christmas" shoppers.
If a company uses the term "Christmas" on a regular basis, we consider that company Christmas-friendly.
A company may be removed from the "bad" list by providing documentation to AFA.
*A company may use "Christmas" sparingly in a single or unique product description, but as a company, does not recognize it.

Lord himself will give you a sign
Dec 08, 2008 | 8:13AM
Merry Christmas to all
1And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed. 2(And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 3And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. 4And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) 5To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. 6And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. 8And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. 15And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. 16And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. 17And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. 18And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. 20And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

It's Strange, Isn't It?
Nov 18, 2008 | 9:31AM
It's Strange, Isn't It?
Isn't it strange how a 20 dollar bill seems like such a large amount when you donate it to church, but such a small amount when you go shopping?

Isn't it strange how 2 hours seem so long when you're at church, and how short they seem when you're watching a good movie?

Isn't it strange that you can't find a word to say when you're praying, but you have no trouble thinking what to talk about with a friend?

Isn't it strange how difficult and boring it is to read one chapter of the Bible, but how easy it is to read 100 pages of a popular novel or ZANE GREY book?

Isn't it strange how everyone wants front-row-tickets to concerts or games, but they do whatever is possible to sit at the last row in Church?

Isn't it strange how we need to know about an event for Church 2-3 weeks before the day so we can include it in our agenda, but we can adjust it for other events in the last minute?

Isn't it strange how difficult it is to learn a fact about God to share it with others, but how easy it is to learn, understand, extend and repeat gossip?

Isn't it strange how we believe everything that magazines and newspapers say, but we question the words in the Bible?

Isn't it strange how everyone wants a place in heaven, but they don't want to believe, do, or say anything to get there?

Isn't it strange how we send jokes in e-mails and they are forwarded right away, but when we are going to send messages about God, we think about it twice before we share it with others?

It's Strange, Isn't It?
Now that you've read this message, show it to anybody that you consider a friend, family member or foe. If you don't do it not only you will deprive yourself from being blessed, but you will also do that to others who may need God in their life.

Heavens Grocery Store.
Nov 10, 2007 | 8:01AM
As I was walking down life's highway many years ago I came upon a sign that read Heavens Grocery Store. When I got a little closer the doors swung open wide And when I came to myself I was standing inside. I saw a host of angels. They were standing everywhere One handed me a basket and said "My child shop with care." Everything a human needed was in that grocery store And what you could not carry you could come back for more. First I got some Patience. Love was in that same row. Further down was Understanding, you need that everywhere you go. I got a box or two of Wisdom and Faith a bag or two. And Charity of course would need some of that too. I couldn't miss the Holy Ghost it was all over the place. And then some Strength and Courage to help me run this race. My basket was getting full but I remembered I needed Grace, And then I chose Salvation for Salvation was for free I tried to get enough of that to do for you and me. Then I started to the counter to pay my grocery bill, For I thought I had everything to do the Masters will. As I went up the aisle I saw Prayer and put that in, For I knew when I stepped outside I would run into sin. Peace and Joy were plentiful, the last things on the shelf. Song and Praise were hanging near so I just helped myself. Then I said to the angel "How much do I owe?" He smiled and said "Just take them everywhere you go." Again I asked "Really now, how much do I owe?" "My child " he said, "JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR paid your bill a long, long time ago."

A little church on a hill
Oct 02, 2007 | 12:14PM
A little church on a hill is filled with two or three. We all sing and shout and praise the Lord JESUS . And there's nowhere I'd rather be.
From Genesis to Revelation the Bible is always our guide. For life and death alike, We all will have to be tried.
As two or three together, God said He's in the midst. And if we are born again by JESUS blood., We will be in HIS book of LIFE .
Our life on earth is over. Do you know where you will be? In hell or will it be heaven, Where Jesus Christ we'll see.
Before our God in heaven, We will stand face to face. The truth our tongues will speak, To a JESUS who's full of grace.
I want to see wonderful Heavens, Where God has made for me, To live with JESUS forever, And never more to grieve.
No tears, no pain, no sorrow, Up there will we see. For Heaven is a city Where gold is on the streets.
And hell is pain and torture, And burning forever more. And if you turn from JESUS, The devil will louse your score.
So the picture should be clear, Of where you want to be. When God calls you home to heaven, And your soul has to leave.
So make a choice that's right, It's still up to you, To choose your path of wonderful life, And be reborn anew. My friends on grab.

TODAY I WILL
May 18, 2007 | 5:25AM
|
TODAY I WILL NOT STRIKE BACK: If someone is rude, if someone is impatient, if someone is unkind... I will not respond in a like manner.
TODAY I WILL ASK GOD TO BLESS MY "ENEMY:" If I come across someone who treats me harshly or unfairly, I will quietly ask GOD to bless that individual. I understand the "enemy" could be a family member, neighbor, co-worker or stranger.
TODAY I WILL BE CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT I SAY: I will carefully choose and guard my words being certain that I do not spread gossip.
TODAY I WILL GO THE EXTRA MILE: I will find ways to help share the burden of another person.
TODAY I WILL FORGIVE: I will forgive any hurts or injuries that come my way.
TODAY I WILL DO SOMETHING NICE FOR SOMEONE, BUT I WILL NOT DO IT SECRETLY: I will reach out anonymously and bless the life of another.
TODAY I WILL TREAT OTHERS THE WAY I WISH TO BE TREATED: I will practice the golden rule - "Do unto others as I would have them do unto me" - with everyone I encounter.
TODAY I WILL RAISE THE SPIRITS OF SOMEONE WHO IS DISCOURAGED: My smile, my words, my expression of support, can make the difference to someone who is wrestling with life.
TODAY I WILL NURTURE MY BODY: I will eat less; I will eat only healthy foods. I will thank GOD for my body.
TODAY I WILL GROW SPIRITUALLY: I will spend a little more time in prayer today: I will begin reading something spiritual or inspirational today; I will find a quiet place (at some point during this day) and listen to GOD's voice!!!

Jesus Christ is our all in all!
May 09, 2007 | 12:10PM
In Christ we have . . . A love that can never be fathomed, A life that can never die, A righteousness that can never be tarnished, A peace that can never be understood, A rest that can never be disturbed, A joy that can never be diminished, A hope that can never be disappointed, A glory that can never be clouded, A light that can never be darkened, A purity that can never be defiled, A beauty that can never be marred, A wisdom that can never be baffled, Resources that can never be exhausted. Jesus Christ is our all in all!

HE touched my soul!
Apr 24, 2007 | 1:22PM
My alarm went off -- it was Sunday again; I was tired, it was my one day to sleep in. But the guilt I'd have felt the rest of the day. Would have been too much, so I'd go; I'd pray. I showered and shaved, adjusted suit and tie, got there and swung into a pew just in time. Bowing my head in humble prayer, before I closed my eyes, I saw that the shoe of the man next to me was touching my own and I sighed. With plenty of room on either side, I thought, why do our soles have to touch?
It bothered me so; he was glued to my shoe, but it didn't seem to bother him much. Then the prayer began: Heavenly Father someone said -- but I thought, Does this man with the shoes have no pride? They were dusty, worn, scratched end to end. What's worse, there were holes on the side!Thank You for blessings, the prayer went on. The shoe man said a quiet Amen. I tried to focus on the prayer, but my thoughts were on his shoes again. Aren't we supposed to look our best when walking through that door? Well, this certainly isn't it, I thought, glancing toward the floor.
Then the prayer ended and songs of praise began. The shoe man was loud, sounding proud as he sang. He lifted the rafters; his hands raised high; the Lord surely heard his voice from the sky. Then the offering was passed; what I threw in was steep. The shoe man reached into his pockets, so deep, and I tried to see what he pulled out to put in, then I heard a soft clink, as when silver hits tin. The sermon bored me to tears, and no lie, it was the same for the shoe man, for tears fell from his eyes. At the end of the service, as is custom here, we must greet the visitors and show them good cheer. But I was moved inside to want to meet this man, so after the closing, I shook his hand.
He was old, his skin dark, his hair a mess. I thanked him for coming, for being our guest. He said, My name's Charlie, glad to meet you, my friend, and there were tears in his eyes, but he had a wide grin. Let me explain, he said, wiping his eyes. I've been coming for months, and you're the first to say 'Hi,' I know I don't look like all the rest, but I always try to look my best I polish my shoes before my long walk, but by the time I get here they're as dirty as chalk. My heart fell to my knees, but I held back my tears, he continued, And I must apologize for sitting so near. But I know when I get here, I must look a sight.
And I thought... if I touched you, our souls might unite I was silent for a moment knowing anything I said would pale in comparison, so I spoke from my heart not my head. Oh, you've touched me, I said. And taught me, in part, that the best of a man is what's in his heart. The rest, I thought, this man will never know... how thankful I am that he touched my soul!

THANKS JESUS FOR TOUCHING OUR SOUL EVERY DAY AND GIVE US SOME ON TO LOVE.

THE WALK
Apr 08, 2007 | 4:03PM

THE WALK
I took a walk the other day It was with my dearest friend Our time together went all too fast And too soon was at an end.
We walked through a garden, on a hill An oasis on a barren land Then to a village, down below With streets of rock and sand.
A crowd had gathered along the way My friend they came to see They said someone would die this day Thank God, it wasn't me.
They gave my friend a cross to bear And said it was his own He calmly turned and said, "Wait here, I now must go alone."
With mounting fear, I watched Him go I cried, "What will I do?" He said, "Just pray, both night and day, For today, I die for you.
This cross I bear is the sin of man My heart is heavy with their weight, But at my Father's call-I'll bear them all Right up to heaven's gate.
I go to prepare a place for you In my Father's house you'll be And later on-tho you'll know not when I'll take you there with Me."
And as they nailed Him on the cross I hung my head in shame, Each nail they drove went through my heart For I knew-I shared the blame.
My sins helped put JESUS there My guilt I plainly see, And I beg forgiveness from God's only Son, My friend-that died for me.

I was an onion before Christ set me free;
Feb 27, 2007 | 4:02PM
I was an onion before Christ set me free;
Layers upon layers of iniquity.
An ugly old onion whose fragrance was strong;
That my JESUS bought and loved all along.
Unknown to me what HE was going to do;
Of what HE was planning, I had not a clue.
Pulling each layer off one by one,
In order to make me more like JESUS the SON.
The first layer wasn't so bad,
I saw all the sins that I knew I had.
They were easy to fix, just change the way I talk,
And learn more of how HE wanted me to walk.
Reading HIS Word,[BIBLE] and learning again;
How to put aside my life of sin.
But the next layer was pulled which hurt more,
He was getting closer to the core.
Unknown what He would find there,
I simply gave it to HIM in prayer.
As another layer was removed, He started to cry;
Pulling this layer brought pain to my FATHER on High.
And I was crying over the sadness I felt;
The brokenness and all of the guilt.
Past memories that I thought were gone;
But they were buried under layers disguised in a fragrance so strong.
As onions are peeled more and more,
They put tears in our eyes as we get close to the core;
So my FATHER wept over my pain;
Giving me a balm of comfort and strength to sustain.
"NO MORE LAYERS!" I would scream,
As HE continued to peel each layer off of me.
"I'll have nothing left, my LORD, what will I do?
I'll be nothing but a worthless core to YOU"
But He simply said "Trust Me," continuing to peel,
I believed HE was blinded to my pain that was so real.
Year after year I shrunk more and more;
Until all that was left of this onion was a core.
It was then that I began to understand;
As the LORD embraced me in HIS loving hand.
HE said, "Now, and only now, can you be;
The creation that will minister before Me.
"Clothed with HIS righteousness only from above;
Gone are your layers of self, so you can be filled with My love."
He took my layers of sin, hurt and pain;
And clothed me with love, truth and mercy in HIS name.
Yes, we are all onions, learning with each day;
How to overcome as each layer is taken away.
Some layers tear and pull at our heart;
While others grieve us to our innermost part.
But we are nothing but an ugly onion without CHRIST.
Layers upon layers of pride, sin and strife.
Only GOD can take those layers away.
And clothe us with HIS righteousness in that Final

Prepare to fly
Oct 02, 2006 | 6:53AM

Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:17)
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7)
